Look I'm fine with dumping the coaching staff after the season on Pettine's time management gaffes alone.. But saying he is satisfied with the players' effort IS NOT the same as being satisfied with the score or outcome of the game. Saying there was no effort would lose the locker room and that is about the only thing he has left.. Could have been a subtle shot at Farmer for the roster he has to work with too. Who knows..

OK Tour- if that was maximum effort, you can only draw three conclusions:
1) The talent is horrible.
2) the coaching is horrible.
3) Both of the above.

And Erving has an OT's build. He's a fish out of water at OG, but supposedly excelled at Center his last year at FSU. Gruden said he had "All-Pro promise as a Center." Unfortunately I never found any tape on him at C. However, he was my 10th ranked LT.
- Cameron Erving: FSU (02-11-15) vs. OK St/ND - no kick; lotta waist bend; feet look heavy; fires out on run blocks; focus? Head? ND's DE Sheldon Day gave fits with low edge rush. I can see as an interior prospect, but would like to see tape on him there.
You can't help him very easily at OG, but you can at C. If Bito's a no-go, I'd try Mack at LG and Cam at C. Can't be any worse.

Yup, Davis was killed a few times. Loved the missed blitz pickups. NOT. At least we got to see what a real defense is supposed to look like. Was shocked we actually had a few decent runs, with real holes getting opened.

Combination of the wrong draft picks, lack of offensive weapons, defensive scheme that the players are no where near comprehending and Coaching.
Erving is a center playing right guard or wherever. Our cornerbacks suck! which tells you Farmer should shoulder the blame. He let young players who were growing walk!
The players have quit on Pettine. He's supposed to be a leader but can't manage the clock in key situations. Situational football is a foreign word to him.
They have no downhill running attack and instead of fixing it, they waive players. Shaun Draugn is playing great ball in San Francisco.
The glaring needs will have to be addressed before the draft. Big tall wide receivers needed. Not one but two.
Since Farmer has blown the first two drafts, we now need to do a rebuild. Reboot again. But it cannot be with Pettine and Farmer. These two made this team a laughing stock. The play is sloppy, penalties, And special teams need to be addressed.

Pettine is obviously protecting the players. The effort sucked except for 2 or 3 players. You cannot seriously expect me to believe the talent level is this low. I know we have injuries, but a lot of teams have them...it's part of the game. We will not see the true talent until a HC comes in here and kicks ass.

I don't think we're the worst team in the NFL talent wise, as our record indicates.
Far from the best, but we definitely have coaching problems.
