  • JM is cancer to any team. Not just the Browns!

Except "shit" was 7 win seasons. Ron has never had a sub 6 win season, and that was his first season.

    Not nearly the same.

Fair enough. But we're 7 days away from this being an untrue statement, lol.

  • Carolina is not like the Browns.

They don't just talk about it - they actually play defense in Carolina.

Their first-round defensive picks are starting and doing well [Kuechly, Lotulelei, Thomson].

Carolina's turnaround wasn't just the drafting of Newton -- they had a ridiculous defensive draft 2 yrs ago : star lotulelei, kawann short, josh norman.

But in Cleveland, we'd run the GM out of town because KK Short and Norman are outperforming Lotuleilei, who was a first round pick.

  • Schefter reporting Johnny will play all remaining games as starter

That's what Tony Grossi said yesterday.

Of course that could all change if Johnny doesn't clean up his room.

  • Just saw on NFL network scroller. Starting against the 49ers

Wonder if Jimmy had a say so in this.

He also has chores to do at Pettines house.

  • I'm wondering how much of this has to do with the late night meeting (if it happened).

    lol That was funny! 😆

  • Coach Jimmy has spoken............ and if he really thinks that Johnny could still be his QB of the future, then it's the right call.

  • I am down with this. Would have started him last week.

Probably better for Johnny he skipped Cincy this time around though.

    Zombo

  • Well the team is going with all they have to use, putting Johnny Manzel in this weeks up coming game against the 49ers. At this point, it will only give him playing time, if the team wins a game , ok, but he is still the same troubled individual.

  • Doesn't we will loose the next 4 with him starting. He sucks and the team itself doesn't want to play with him.

  • He gets to enjoy the near death experience of playing behind this o-line.

  • Who the hell is he going to throw the ball to? I'm not sure how severe Benji's shoulder injury is, but I don't think it was the "day to day" variety. Brian Hartline is probably our best receiver now (stop laughing), and I believe he got dinged up as well. So are we rolling out with Brian Hartline, Jennings, Bowe (I'd like to think he might actually suit up), and then Terrell Pryor?! Any word on if Barnidge is healthy enough to play?

If you want to see what you have in a young QB, this is just about the WORST possible scenario. "OK Johnny, here's the deal. We don't have a running game, you'll be running for you life, and your receivers probably won't be open. Good luck."

  • Doesn't we will loose the next 4 with him starting. He sucks and the team itself doesn't want to play with him.

    Loose? Somethings loose?
