Pettine is so risk averse, its a wonder he can get out of bed every day. Instead of measure twice and cut once, Pettine is: study the theory of measuring, get training how to hold a tape measure, consider measuring, console with his Dad about if hes ready to measure, get pissed when the neighbors ask him if he finally measured, and then non-commital about when to schedule the measuring. But then, when he finally did measure, there was a penalty flag for measuring interference and he was penalized 15 yards. And then the clock ran out.
