Donald Trump says ban all Muslims traveling to US

  • Obama wants to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees into this country when there is no way to vet these people. I think many reasonable people would agree to put on pause this idea because we have no idea of who we are bringing in to this country.

What Trump said is way over the line about not allowing Muslims in to this country just because they are Muslim. I thought Trump had a silly answer when he was asked how we would know if people were Muslims or not and he said we would ask them (as if someone could not lie about it). Obviously to me Trump has not thought through on this idea however every time he says something like this and the talking heads say he has really doomed his campaign he only rises in the polls.

he rises in "republican" polls. Sorry but these people have become brain dead and continuing to support this boob, even though from time to time he does have a decent idea just no sane way to execute it, they're just ensuring Hillary can start measuring the drapes. The GOP will lose the middle hard if they run this guy. Trump appeals to a certain type, and that type is a minority. Trump cannot pull the middle. He had a chance early on but then just he dumbest shit ever uttered by a politician started coming out of his mouth, like "i prefer people that didn't get shot down". There's just so much tape on this guy that the DNC will crucify him with in the general election.

I've said it before and I still think there's something to it....he's salting the middle so hard it's almost like he's in cohoots with the CLintons.

The thing I like about Trump is his downfall, he is not a politician. Even when I don't agree with him I like hearing a politician for once not giving poll tested canned answers and speaking plainly. Trump has been good to shake up the republican establishment as they need to know a large part of the republican base are fed up with all the promises that are made by republican candidates to get elected and then they go to Washington and follow through with very few of them.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I think Trump could be competitive with independents and moderates despite some of the crazy shit he's said.

My issue with Trump is not that he's no politician, but that he seems like he's literally blowing it out of his ass daily. On a lot of things he's making even emptier promises than traditional politicians. I want to hear well thought through ideas with some kind of idea how they should be executed. He has these wild ideas with zero notion of how to execute them, and he knows it but he doesn't care...he says "i'll get the best people". It doesn't work like that. And for some of you republicans who constantly rail the govt for being inept and not able to attract the best people....how are you now believing this guy?

    HE's "FULL OF SHIT"

  • We don't know if Trump would be (all) empty promises or not because he has never held public office before. Some of his promises I could see him making good on such as a border wall and enforcing immigration laws at the border. However when he speaks of deporting millions of illegal immigrants I see no way he could do it and he does not say how he would do it. The fact of the matter is we have millions of illegal immigrants here because both parties have encouraged it. One party sees a block of new democratic voters and there are many establishment chamber of commerce republicans who have liked the cheap labor force.

  • It's too hard for me to get a gauge on Trump at this point.

He's said many dumb things that I disagree with. But ultimately he's pretty moderate on almost everything else - then he has a few things (like immigration) where he just takes the furthest right wing path possible.

Part of me wonders if he's just doing it like "Art of the Deal" where you ask for way more than you expect and think is possible at the beginning of negotiations and use that as a starting point - taking as much as you can get.

I think odds are looking like Trump vs. Clinton

That's not necessarily true though is it? What nations did the abassid caliphate represent? It represented islam. And only islam constantly at war to spread islam, like a virus. And this was during the so called "golden age" of islam.

So can I bring up the Crusades now? ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't even think about it, do you know how long ago that was? It's not like people still think and operate exactly like they did back then. No way. Ancient history bruh

If you think it helps your point. I dont think it does

  • Well, obamao brought up the crusades, and he's

viciously favoring muslim terrorists in his regime...

so, no surprise that come liberals bring it up.

but the crusades were started as an order...

by a byzantine emperor contacting the Pope

at the time, for military help in assuring that

they could defend themselves from the growing

    Turkish threat.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusades

The immediate goal was to guarantee pilgrims access to the holy sites in the Holy Land under Muslim control.

the year was 1093. It is now 2015. Christiandom has come a long way. Islam is still basically

stuck in the ancient centuries in some mosques, and in the dark souls of extremist islamic terrorists.

The world is plagued by this murderous, horrific movement. There IS NO FREAKIN DEFENSE of

extremist terrorist murdering "islamic" thugs killing inncent human beings around the world.

And, it's an excellent point. Libs often ridicule Jesus, and God, and Christians.

And, they are too cowardly to ridicule the Islamists - and too locked up in their own free stuff political

emotional knee jerking. That is very sad - sick, even.

The libs have always had a heyday mocking Christians and when Christians would complain the answer was usually too bad so sad we live in a free country with first amendment rights. I remember some singer one time putting a video out mocking Christians and all the compliments she got from the left for *being so brave*. It made me laugh as I knew this singer would NEVER had mocked Islam out of fear. With Islam I am seeing the libs go a different direction and we have to cater to Islam and never offend their faith. I recently read a despicable article from a lib journalist who said one Jewish Christian was not an innocent victim like the other 13 were (San Bernardino shooting) because he had criticized Islam on face book. What was her point in this disgraceful article but without saying it she was saying he got what he deserved. What happened to the first amendment with this lib? Hypocrites and cowards they are.

Chris I am not knocking this as it is a good thing to see. Rom 12:21 overcome evil with good. I am skeptical from something I saw on television years ago. I saw Muslims who said they were moderate and totally advocating for peaceful coexistence and condemning violence and terrorism. I was impressed but then towards the end of the show the moderator brought up scriptures from the koran about killing infidels and other verses of violence against innocent people. He asked the Muslims if this was wrong and I was shocked that not one of the peace loving Muslims could bring themselves to say the verses in the koran were wrong. It could be it was out of fear of what might happen to them to say the verses were wrong but for me that was when I saw these open ended verses of violence in the koran is the major problem with radical Islamists who use these verses to justify hanging gays and throwing them off buildings and killing innocent people they consider infidels because they believe differently.

I would like to see an honest debate where political correctness has no place and search for answers. There is a huge problem with Islam today and some of the problem is that there are too many Muslims who condone what radical Islam is doing and too much hate being preached by the clerics in the mosques. Put everything out there and try to get to the root of the problem but I still believe the koran itself is largely responsible.

  • I'm also one of 20 million or so whos background check information, including SSN, former addresses, family members, medical information, duty stations/employers, etc. were stolen. I've received 2 letters from the Office of Personnel Management informing me and giving me free monitoring by ID Experts for 3 years. Whoopie. No wonder I travel around with a .45 at all times. If I could I would sue the incompetent bastards who developed the 'security' for the information in the data bases.

i'm sure when some local mooslims look over your hacked service record they're not gonna go "holy shit Mahmoud, look at this guy....says he cooked a mean pot roast, and he's local!! Total score let's get this cunt!!!"

More likely they'll just say "who would actually care if we did?"
