    That's a microaggression.

  • That's insensitive to people that don't believe in Barbara Streisand

    Why the war on Streisand?

  • Because when she assembled the Diamond of Pantheos and transformed into Mecha-Streisand, she would have taken over the world if not for Sydney Poitier and Robert Smith

Fair to say they rained on her parade?

  • Yale fail: Ivy leaguers sign 'petition' to repeal First Amendment

    * We don't need no stinking first amendment rights....ughhhhhhhhhh. This is just more proof of the failure of our education system. These students should have been taught long ago (in at least junior high school) the importance of our first amendment rights. And these are supposed to be some of the best and brightest in our colleges?

  • A cut up video of people on the street?

Those always tell the whole story

Not just random people on the street, these knuckleheads who want to abolish the first amendment are Yale students...you know the ones we are told are some of the best and brightest in the country.

  • pffff

    education

    amirite?

  • I'm currently a student at a certain college in Ohio and I hear this kind of crap on a regular basis. There is pretty much a rally every day that is something along the lines of Black Lives Matter, repeal the second amendment, fuck rape culture, don't dress as Caitlin Jenner for Halloween because you'll offend the 20 transgendered kids that go to the college, and the list goes on and on..

These kids want free speech, but don't want adults/students that oppose them to have it. I can't even begin to fathom how they can have these rallies so often and still graduate from college. They're always complaining about somebody hurting others feelings so they have to protest or rally about something. It's personally sickening to me.

  • I honestly never really experienced any of that when I was in college.

Nor did I but I was among science and math nerds.

Same for me (and woody). Geeks don't really care, and just get on with their thing, really.

  • Hahaha. Yeah well we were kind of peace hippies and saw tons of it. I think that's when I began to become disenchanted with the left.

  • I just went to class, work, and parties/the bar while I was in college.

Sometimes there'd be people gathered at the SU for something or whatever but I'd just see if they had free food and that was about it. Never paid attention otherwise.

    Pretty much.

Engineers at Michigan essentially have a while campus to ourselves. No time for rallies or anything.

Yeah if you took time away to protest you would fail out of school in the difficult majors. The Modern Urban African American Woman studies majors had all the time in the world.

Haha. That got me thinking, if you are a theater major what would be the benefit of getting a masters?

  • It's screwed up that pretty much all of the majors cost the same (slight variance between colleges, but generally cost is about the same)

You can get in the hole like $50,000 to get a liberal arts degree that isn't even good for a management position at McDonalds.
