    But Zombo is a "hater".

Sorry, but I call them like I see them, and I saw this one early.

Draft that Goff kid, or whoever the best prospect is and never look back.

    Cut Johnny tonight.

  • Forget Manziel, let's get the inner chest of Connor Shaw back here with experience behind him. This Austin Davis processes way too slow to remind us why he didn't have a job when something was allegedly way too good to be true. 30 other teams would have accepted the gift Pittsburgh gave us all day long - we were the 1 team that couldn't.

  • How about some pics or proof? Any scoombala can post on the Internet that they saw johnny somewhere drunk. Your posting unsubstantiated rumors on the inter for the world to see. RuinING this kids life. It's clear that this is the most popular board for the most popular team and the whole world reads this. My god repeat lost. What if he was your kid.

Sorry I didnt whip out my camera for some douchebag still named after Massaquoi.

I've been here for 15 years or more, I have met half of these guys in person and I respected his privacy until I knew he played his last game as a Brown.

If he was my kid? I would love him and help him and tell him to step away from the NFL until he was healthy because he is costing some good hard-working men their jobs.

His own dad called him out publicly for being drunk and immature.

He's in his 20s. He's not a child, he makes his own decisions. He's getting paid to play a kids game and can't keep his shit together.

    Fuck him and fuck you.

I don't think he's the guy as of today, but what do you define as "having your shit together"? The guy gets drunk on the weekend but so do I and I'm sure a lot of people here. If he shows up and does his job honestly who gives a shit? This isn't a Manziel thing, I'd say that for every other player, coach and staff on the Browns for that matter. The NFL isn't a dang sunday school where appearance matters. It's all about winning and as long as Johnny (or again, any other player) can show up and play well does it matter?

That's all I've said about this Johnny "drama" but apparently that's some crazy thought to so many people here. Meanwhile we play like garbage on the field like that that's second fiddle to what a dude does off the field.

He admittedly wasted his rookie season. He lied to his employer.

He was in rehab and I still drinking like a fool.

You don't owe anyone an apology for nailing it.

  • The tweet I posted is from a "reputable source".

Either way, does Johnny deserve the benefit of the doubt here?

We'll just have to wait and see what turns up tomorrow

    Wow, Woody???????

I've read you on the Politics Board for quite a while and cant believe you can say/ask your rhetorical question..

"Either way, does Johnny deserve the benefit of the doubt here?"

Truth doesn't matter to you any more (or any less)?

  • I can't wait for Manziel to be gone so we don't have to thumb through these remarkably similar conversations every single god damn week.

  • Could not help but love this...

"About the only real intrigue other the looming housecleaning was the whereabouts of injured quarterback Johnny Manziel. He reportedly was spotted in a Las Vegas casino on Saturday night, because a place filled with loud noises and flashing lights is an ideal spot for someone recovering from a concussion."

The kind of love he needs is fired, suspended AND cut off from Daddies money entirely. Its the only kind of love that might get JFF where he needs to be

as one of the wags said- Manziel got his concussion because he was so drunk Sunday night after the KC game, he fell down and hit his head.

Let me just come back to what I bolded because I don't disagree at all. Honestly, I'm pretty "meh" on Manziel-I think if the new regime brought in the right system with a little time he could honestly be a good QB. I also think he could be a career back-up character who never gets it together either.

BUT, all I'm trying to say is the Browns are very devoid on talent. If a guy parties hard in his free time but performs on the field, I literally could not care the fuck less. That's all I'm trying to say, it's not "defending" Manziel in my eyes. I'm just tired of having such little talent if talent comes in a party package so be it.

  • obviously they're going to say the Little Douchenozzle is "making progress."

Like it or not, he IS an asset for the Browns organization. Haslam employs people whose job is dependent upon maximizing that return.

So, they're simply lying with the purpose of the Browns organization achieving the largest return on JFF in trade.

I agree with that. The NFL is full of young guys who like to party. If they keep it within the boundaries and are safe while doing it, then who really cares.

Manziel is a different story and we all know why.

  • I don't like Pettine but there isn't a viable replacement. Fire Farmer (Obviously)

Make Haslam sign a contract that he won't intervene.

That's the best I can come up with.

Anyone else got a better idea?

Farmer had to go, but Pettine ignoring the defense until it was too late (KC and Steelers) was the reason he got sent packing. That, and if the Gilbert rumor is true- losing control of the locker room. His clock management was terrible too.

I can't feel bad for him, he can sit around doing nothing, or get a TV gig- and still collect more in the next two years than I've made in my lifetime.

  • Pet will make an amazing high school guidance counselor

  • the very loud rumor being said by Grossi....and getting louder by the hour...,,is that Johnny showed up to work drunk on Weds and couldnt function in the QB room.....

and the Browns did him a favor by not saying anything....and want to protect any sliver of value he may still have....

And Grossi insists its true.....I believe him

Time to go back to rehab. The kid has gone into full relapse mode that much is obvious.

He doesn't give two damns about the Browns or the city of Cleveland - trade him for a box of chicken mcnuggets.

Can't Sasha Brown or somebody cut him?

JFF1: Reported this on @SNFonNBC re Manziel: Browns require players in concussion protocol to be seen by team medic at 9 am on Sunday …
JFF2: … even if they’re not playing. Manziel didn’t show up Sunday. Browns couldn’t reach him on phone. At this point I can tell you …
Peter King ‏@SI_PeterKing 24s25 seconds ago

JFF3: … Browns are so done with the guy. I will be stunned if he ever plays another snap for Cleveland. He wants to go to Dallas.
