Stop.. Just spare your self and stop Peckerwood.... Each successive post of yours just gets worse.. The "Myth" is now what? 8-2 on this bowl season? And playing for the national championship next Monday night..

No other conference has ever gone 7 for 9...... EVER!!

Had the big fraud done that I'd tip my hat...

Now, disparaging southern people seems to be the modus operandi... I'll tell ya... I've lived North, and South.. Southern folk are good people.. Smart people..

Bullshit. When I have Bama fans flat out telling me 'we like our niggers more than we like you' (referring to the Buckeye gear I was wearing) then you don't sit there and tell me there isn't some deep rooted north vs south shit still infecting the minds of many of these fuckers.

I think it is fair to say that some of this so called "SEC pride" is simply a remnant of a plantation mentality....yes.

(of course, they all seem to forget that most of the yard bosses come from like Ohio: Meyer when at FLA. Miles, Saban, Pinkel..a few more)

It's hilarious when people psychotically bash the SEC, then turn around and make fun of you for riding coattails whenever the SEC makes them look like idiots.

Then again, if my conference blew, I'd probably use that argument too.

Axe, I apologize we lost our game. Sumlin is such an embarrassment. Then again, up until Wednesday we were 19-0 against OOC teams since joining the league, so we were due.

I guess most of the issue is why this all came about. You didn't hear jack shit from anyone in Pac land when USC claimed an AP, smoked Oklahoma then almost went back to back.

Like wise for the Big East and Da U.

'SEC' pride grew from Southern folks feeling this inherit need to show comradery against anything not of the former confederacy territories.

Also, Aggie, your conference does blow... your University just got lost on the way to the Cotton Bowl and forgot where they belong. That team is no more SEC than Southern Miss.

That's because no one else from the Pac or the Big East won anything. Pretty simple.

Sadly, even though I'm sure your insult of A&M is based on nothing that you're actually knowledgeable of and is just some lame attempt to flame, I'm starting to think it's true. Our fans don't have the right mindset. But our conference does not blow. It just beat yours' and everyone else's arse.

Well, my mind set is: Who gives a flying fuck about conferences. That is as fucking stupid as rooting for the Steeler's and Ravens and Bengals to have postseason success. It is TEAM's that matter, not their conference affiliation.

I would like to see Clemson win simply because I have seen enough of Alabama already. If the tables were turned and it was Alabama that had not won a title in 35-40 years and Clemson that had won several recently, I would like to see them win.

When Auburn and Oregon played for the title several years ago....that was good, Auburn had not won a National Championship since 1957 and Oregon had never won a title, ever. So, whomever won was OK with me. I didn't root for or against either of those teams based on conference affiliation.

I root for my team.....I don't root for my team's rival. Only sick fuck's would do that. I don't give a shit about Michigan, Mich. St. Penn St. etc. etc. winning. I would be neutral about it. I wanted Mich. St. to win the other day....not because they are a Big Ten team....but because, as I said, I am bored with Alabama. Had Michigan St. been playing Mississippi St.....then I would have been fairly neutral.

Sorry, but I pay tuition for my kid to go to a school....not to a conference.

Ok? So its been LSU, Bama and then the Gators. No Georgia, SCar, Vandy, A&M, sure... if you want to count Auburns' rented titled that should count every bit as less as the Buckeyes 2010 season. Then Arkansas, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Miss State, Mizzou and The Vols.

So your titles have been held by one traditional powerhouse, two schools that have had flash in the pan success in particular decades and....? That's it. Alabama has been the hat people have hung onto.

2009 - Texas loses Colt on a freak hit/injury with a play call they had no business running. Bama had zero answer for the Texas passing game and I'm convinced would have won that game rather handily with McCoy at the helm. Shit, they were in it until the end with Garrett fucking Gilbert.

2011- After losing at home to LSU, gets a title shot over an Okie State team with a higher BCS computer ranking, stronger SoS, actually won their division and conferernce.

2012 - Blessed to have tOSU on a one year bowl game suspension otherwise we clown stomp Notre Dame and Braxton runs for 200+ on their defense.

2014 - Runs into the freight train that was tOSU and Cardale Jones. All the while losing bowl games to Utah and Oklahoma in between years.

Saban, a man you'll never convince me hasn't sold his soul to the Devil for his success. He benefited more from the BCS system then quite possibly any other coach.

I understand your take, but when Charlie Baumann (spelling) waved that intercepted ball in Woody Hayes' face in the Gator Bowl, I've hated Clemson ever since. Yeah, Woody was a time bomb, just a low class act by the player, and a real bad reaction by a legendary coach.

I said "no one ELSE," meaning, only Miami and USC had won titles from those conferences. As opposed to the SEC having 4 different teams win them (even if none of them count, apparently, because tia can't just give credit where it's due).

By the way.....YES, it was a local team that won the real College Football playoffs.

I said "no one ELSE," meaning, only Miami and USC had won titles from those conferences. As opposed to the SEC having 4 different teams win them (even if none of them count, apparently, because tia can't just give credit where it's due).

For a bunch of people that don't care about which conference is best, you sure waste a lot of time debating it (in fact I can find threads started by YOU on the subject).

Maybe I didn't follow the argument from between the two of you.....I am just stating facts.

You are the one stuck on the subject. I simply reply to what is said basically on it. If you don't want the matter discussed STFU.

Like I said....if any other fan of any other team in the SEC thinks that they get to share in the glory of Alabama's titles....they are a fucking idiot.

Alabama won those titles. LSU won theirs. Florida won theirs. Auburn won its. No one else, just because of conference affilation gets to share another team's titles.

Do you think for one fucking moment that OSU fans give credence to the thought that Michigan fans get to share the current title. Fuck no. Fuck off Michigan fan if you think that.....and that includes Woody.

And those facts were already acknowledged by moi.

You are the one that has started threads on it, actually. Did I start this thread? Did an SEC fan?

    I didn't start this.....not sure who did.

And FYI....I don't acknowledge the concept of an "SEC fan".

Like I said, that would be as counterintuitive as someone claiming to be an "AFC North" fan.

Unless your team just sucks. Then claiming to be a fan of the conference helps. Maybe Brwosn fans should think about just becoming AFCN fans then we can claim Steeler, Raven and Bengals wins as our own. Dulls the pain.

    Fuck that.

Was I? Again, that's all this SEC circle jerk really is.

No not you. Woody. In between making excuses for why teams' championships don't count, try actually reading the thread.

In my defense, that takes time away from forming illogical and emotionally driven arguments.

I will instead reject your reality and substitute my own. Good day, sir.

I'm a northerner who likes the Big 12. The SEC at this point and over the last 10 years is the best conference in college football.
