Jonathan Paul Manziel
-
manziel can bite a dick.
he's a fool and anyone that believes in his game right now is one too.
-
whatever, he scored on that TD run that ended up going backward to the 30 yard line. If that TD stands it's a totally different game.

Everybody. Calm. The. Fuck. Down.
John Manziel is going to grow up. If he doesn't so the fuck what. Have you guys ever thought that maybe the media and other teams fans are the ones that start tearing him down, then you guys start to do so as well. Ever think maybe everyone just wants to get Manziel to a better team and will blow shit way out of proportion to see that it happens.
Look, I could care less about the guy, I wanted us to draft Carr and Mack and we would have been miles ahead of where we are. Tyrann Mathieu was a guy I begged you guys for and we took fucking whatever his name was right before the Cardnails to Mathieu, now he's a probowler.
All because you guys cried about character concerns. Let the guy live his life how he wants, as long as he wins us game I don't care what he does. For all those who scream, "but he's a role model"... give me a break, if that kid is your kids role model, you fucked up. Parents are the role model. Who cares if he tweets, drinks or fucks in the streets? As long as he puts a W in the win column and produces on offense what is the problem.
Manziel is under contract, he's going to ball football next year. He might have the highest ceiling of any QB we've drafted since '99. He didn't have Gordon or any big target besides Barnidge to throw to. Lets see what he can make happen next year with a rejuvenated Josh Gordon and a few more pieces to go with more experience and knowing going into the season that he's the guy. Give him that for fucks sake. We've dicked the kid around for two years and gotten to see nothing.
If I'm the coach I give Manziel the reigns with two huge targets at wide receiver, a speedy and sure handed slot guy, two viable and reliable TEs, an all-pro line and a running back that can carry a team. I give him that and then tell him "be yourself". Then I evaluate at the end of the season and based on what he did and didn't do, I either re-sign him long term and have found our franchise QB or I find one in the draft. He's either the guy or we still have to find the guy. Let's see if we have him or not. Have a little faith and judge not lest ye be judged.

So you're willing to give this assclown another year to see if he's gonna grow up? Sorry, not worth it. In case you didn't read the articles Z posted, Johnnie is now hiding in a cave somewhere.

Problem is, as an NFL quarterback you can't live your life how you want, especially if it involves significant time drinking your ass off, and missing mandatory treatment sessions.

He just might also have the lowest floor. Like Justin Blackmon low. He got dicked around because he couldn't beat out Josh McCown, and couldn't follow direct suggestions from his coach.

95%+ chance, he's not the guy. When your (former) pal LeBron- who probably knows Johnnie better than any of us, kicks him out of his ad agency, that should tell you James doesn't want to be associated with this loser anymore. LBJ is a class act- something that can't be said for Manziel. I think Chis Carter might be on to something, Manziel isn't going to try to straighten out until he hits bottom, hopefully with some other team.
RG3 is going to Dallas.
Manziel is going to the bar. Won't be a Cleveland Brown next year.
He may well be hanging out in a Vegas bar as we speak- with a better disguise, and one of his pals paying the bills on his nickel.
-
billy billy billy (another segway) do i like him or do i hate him? that's right i hate him.
-
yeah this was it..
-
Just those news stories and the TV trucks camped out in front of the house are an indication that somebody takes this foolishness way too seriously.

1: The media didn't make him throw away his rookie year. It didn't make him run off to Las Vegas and miss his concussion treatments before the last game of the year.
2: Wins and losses are not a quarterback stat, it's a team stat, and he's not a team player. His attitude is detrimental to the whole team. As a QB you are a leader, and leaders set the tone for the whole team. The sad part is other teams knew this about him. From the Patriots scouting report on Manziel:
On his family:
- From the vibe of online articles, father seems a little too involved and overstepping his boundaries.
- Vibe on this guy keeps getting worse. Support staff members are sick of him and ready for him to go. Described as a cocky, me-guy.
- Loves football, FBI is high as well. Everything has been pretty well-documented in online articles about the kid, but sources say he’s a spoiled brat (grandfather gives him allowance, father bought him luxury car).
- Comes from ‘outlaw bloodlines’, mom moved the family to Kerrville to get away from father’s wild family. Father’s family is said to be very shady people, always into something, they are the root of Johnny’s personality.
On his psyche:
- Couple of TXTC sources say can’t yell/scream at him or he shuts down; has walked away from Kingsbury in the past.
On his work ethic:
- Doesn’t study the game, said to know about 60% of the offense in ’12, never watches film; one source said only time he watched film during ’12 was before ALUN.
- Knows how to scheme the system, arrogant and full of himself, but he’s not smug to coaches. Has been like this since Day 1, has never gone to class, goes to beat of own drum, but has ultimate confidence.
On how his teammates view him:
- Teammates don’t dislike him, but there’s some resentment, more so in the offseason when he isn’t coming to workouts and they are busting their butt.

It's good that he walked away from Kliff Kingsbury when he was yelled at...seeing as he didn't play at Texas Tech.

So would you say that he's done enough on the field that it makes you think he has the potential to be a franchise quarterback?
I mean, if we ignored the off-field stuff. Put that aside. Not that it shouldn't be factored in... But if we didn't? Just consider ON the field...
Does he look like a potential franchise guy?
Because he doesn't to me. Not at all. And THAT is the primary reason I'm done with him. If he had got it done for the BROWNS, I would be able to dismiss the snapchat TMZ bullshit just like you. But he's been bad on the field and worse off of it.
Done.
