If Houston had a halfway decent QB this pgh team would be one of the worst playoff teams to get in for some time. Only reason they did get in is because of how weak the North is right now save for Cincy. Blt and Cleveland are in the top 3 worst teams in the NFL. Oh how you cried like a baby when the 2007 10-6 browns didn't get help from the Tony Dungy led Colts. Recall Dungy threw the last game of the season to rest his players. They lost leaving the browns out and fans butthurt.
Yeah the Steelers backed in, but its not like they were 9-7 or 8-8.
A 10-6 record is deserving of a play-off spot just like it was for the 2007 browns. Anything less and I would be the first to admit the Steelers didn't belong there.

Tooo bad he's getting close to Social Security age, and is slowing down. Harrison didn't start the tactic, but he was the last practitioner of it. FWIW, I consider Burfect a thug too.

j would say co own with the Ravens despite Blt's downturn this year. Blt has to have a couple down seasons and the Bengals have to fall off as well before I say the Steelers own anything. They're not a good team right now. Evident that they've have some very bad losses in the division including to the "Browns"...which from I now know about this team, speaks not favorably to the Steelers. They should have "never" lost or even had close games to this team for the past 4 or so years.
And that fact infuriates me about how the browns have gone about their business. The Steelers and Blt have "really" fallen off, and the only team in the North that's looking to restructure the balance of power in the division is Cincy.

This game took me back to the 60's when a typical game looked just like this. Guys who hate one another trying to beat the living shit out of one another. Spear tackles , clothes lines, forearms to the chin. Back then none of those hits were penalties, you had to be a man to play in the NFL.

Well, two things changed the whole situation: the suicide of Junior Seau.....a great player. And, of course, a Billion dollar lawsuit will get your attention.....particularly if there is some merit to it...which apparently there was.
As for Trump....you gotta figure that the other NFL owners wanted NO part of the Trump circus...and would do anything to keep him from buying into the league, as he wanted to do.
I mean....the NFL owners are among the richest, most heartless humans on the Earth (and primarily Republican) And they want no part of him.......what should that tell the rest of the country.
