I hope so. I'm 63 and my voice is stronger than ever. And yes Bernie won a game in Dallas but was third string of Miami. Brian Hoyer won a few games in Houston before he imploded, Brandon Weeden won one.

With the proper lubrication... why shouldn't it?
Just don't go full Leon Russell...
Last time I saw him he rode one of those little scooters on-stage... slid over on the piano bench... played for an hour (pretty decent actually) without once ever acknowledging the crowd... slid back on the scooter and was never seen again.

It was actually more on the penalties in Pittsburgh territory and specifically their red zone. They were terrible that day. @Pittsburgh was easily Johnny's best performance.
Yep, sadly, it was.
He didn't play too bad, and I won't ride him too hard for the nine points, because I think he was in on that touchdown run (even though he followed the penalties up with an INT) so he could have/ should have had another TD there.
But then Pettine handed him the job after that game and he fucked it up before the bye week was over.
So what are you going to do?
If you are Hue Jackson, and you have your one big opportunity, are you are hitching your wagon to this kid?
No, you are not.
"Good luck kid, I hope things work out well for you."

Exactly......I doubt that ANY of these guys who continuously apologize for and back Johnny would put "their" average job in his hands.....yet, they expect a coach to trust Johnny with his million dollar gig .....
and anyone who says they would.....is lying.....

I was a big Johnny backer but, while I still believe he has a lot of talent, he & his circus need to go elsewhere. The Browns have regained so much credibility & respect with recent changes that it would be a shame to risk that by keeping him around. I wish him luck, but Hue & co deserve better.

I think we need to start a "gofundme" account so our decrepit 63 year old singer can have his own scooter. It should have a subtle little echo chamber sound system installed like Andy Williams used to use.

Heh.
I hate to even sit on a stool for a performance. And I constantly acknowledge the audience. And everybody uses an echo.
Or reverb, or both but its digital for the last million years or so.
Not to mention that while I have a great deal of respect for Leon Russell I have never thought he was an exceptional vocalist.

Hmmmmm. You are sounding more and more like a potential worthy opponent for this 68 year old daily racquetball player.

Exceptional? No... not the word. Unusual... distinctive... interesting? Any or all apply. He had a way of phrasing that always pleased...
His "... and the Shelter People" was a great LP.
Leon was the headliner of the only concert I ever attended in old Muni Stadium... early 70's... maybe '72? Stage was set up in shallow center field and attendees filled the space fanning out from there all the way up the bleachers. Dr. John was the opening act.
