    Way to go JFF, he's gotta know this one just burned his last bridge with the Browns- and he obviously doesn't give a f**k what Sashi and Hue think of him. He's not only pissed on the Browns- he's pissed on us fans on top of it. I'm kinda mad about this one, FYI.

    One can only hope this video get back to Jerrah- I'd say his odds of ever landing a gig with another NFL team just got flushed.

    This is seriously the dumbest one to get mad about.

    The season is over, what the fuck is there to be mad about?

    I get that he's an asshole and needs to be gone, but Jesus Christ - some of you guys are still living in the prohibition era.

    LOL, Prohibition Era? Hey guy, AHEM- I'm now an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Enology helping teach a wine appreciation class at UD. 🙂

    TC- I really don't care any more if Johnny drinks himself to death. He's living his life as he sees fit, so if that makes him happy- so be it. This latest video was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. It's been two years coming, hanging onto hope Manziel could somehow turn into an asset for the Browns. It's over now- 100% done with the guy. Party on a-hole.

    I'm tellin' ya it's a JM/Jerrah conspiracy. I'm betting they have had some talks there in Dallas where Johnny was partying and Jerrah says, "Just keep drinking yourself out of Cleveland and I'll pick you up. Make sure it's good and public too." 😉

    That bridge has already been burned, Larry. If you listen to Sashi, Paul and Hue ... they're done.

    He's gone, it's just interesting to watch how he spends his last couple months as a Brown.

    I don't know where you guys get that story besides a few nice words Jerry had to say about Johnny once. From what I've read the rest of the front office talked him out of it on draft day and have not changed their minds since.

    There is a CBS Sports story that says only the Rams have mild interest.

    I mean, I agree with you.

    But getting mad about this is like getting mad that your slutty ex-girlfriend is cheating on her new boyfriend.

    Why does it matter? Sluts will slut. Drunks will drunk. Dude is in the past.

    Well in year number one Grossi reported on a weekly basis how the team was behind him and how well he is coming to grips with the system.

    Always good to take sports radio gossip with a grain or two of salt.

    I'm not saying it's impossible but...

    Nah- there's a bunch of us oldsters on the board TC- and we wasted yet another 2 years of my ever more limited lifetime seeing if Johnny Juicer could get his act together.

    "This" refers to the notion that 2015 johnny didn't improve over 2014.

    No, it's not.

    Hue Jackson agrees with me

    The problem with JF is that the next progression he goes through in which he chooses the best option.. will be his first. I don't care if he "wants to" improve or not.. the reality is that he hasn't improved, isn't improving currently, and isn't putting in the work.

    This is a very stupid thread. Please close it, mods.

    Apparently, you don't understand how progression works. When a team picks a quarterback, it should play said quarterback to be able to make definitive statements like you just made. But you can't. What you can do is point towards improvements he has made, but there is far from enough of a sample size to know one way or the other.

    @mike-h said:

    Apparently you don't understand what progression is - or how it works.

    Progression refers to the ability [or, in JFF's case, absence] of a QB to look at each WR sequentially during a play to determine if they are open. This is done based on how the defender is positioned, the relative speed of the defender in relation to the speed of the WR, and film study to know each defender's closing speed [eg if the defender is "baiting"].

    @mike-h said:

    Coaches watch him every day on the practice field - and analyze the all-22 view of the practice as they need to. They see quite clearly that he has made zero improvements in his ability to execute a progression since he was drafted. JFF was given more than a "fair" chance to earn that playing time.. and JFF didn't deserve it. Nobody "gets" anything in life.. you have to earn it.

    JFF had to beat out McCown.. a fair requirement, every young QB has to beat the veteran. And JFF never did... because he's simply not good enough. Cleveland should actually not "just play" him with a more competent McCown sitting on the bench.

    The definitive statement was made: JFF is not a good football player. I hope he goes back to school, finishes his degree, and makes something of his life. Of course, the Padres drafted him as a shortstop in the 2014 draft, so maybe he's got something there.

    I think the definitive statement was that he's not a good enough football player to excuse all of the off field shit. And he'd have to be a hell of a football player to do that.
