Well, Broadway Johnny is now a flop. He has serious problems - and trading him

is now going to be a joke, maybe.

what a waste of a draft pick. He never was a fit for the Browns, or their locker room...

    dammit, Farmer and Pettine.

    dammit.

    Farmer and Jimmy.

Let's not hang Johnny on Pettine. He was stuck with him like we were stuck with him. He did his best. It wouldn't have mattered.

Johnny was a red flag that blew up in their faces.

Red flags tend to do that.

So you are saying you cannot mishandle the unhandleable?

A concept so unique I apparently had to invent a word to capture it...

  • I heard Jason Cole from Bleacher Report on radio today say he expects the Browns to just cut JM some time between now and two weeks from now and was leaning more towards sooner rather than later. He says he has now become untradable to any team in the NFL and likely would not be picked up by anyone when cut. He was speaking on a Cowboys sports program out of Dallas and specifically mentioned that Jerry no longer has any part of the decision making so whether he liked him or not, the FO team would reject it.

That would be out of the league in 2 years, meaning the smart predictors were right. He was a circus, a drunk and an entitled prick. What a waste of time and another hi draft pick.

Which I mentioned weeks ago with the story that only the Rams had even minor interest. The Cowboys front office who convinced Jerry to steer clear at draft time are still there and probably haven't changed their minds.

I think his assessment of a quick cut is probably correct as a prediction.

Whether or not I'd make that decision doesn't matter.

  • It matters to me, Steve... 😛

Jerrah was stopped/talked-out-of spending a 1st round pick on JM. That's a far cry from picking him up as an UFA for a league min contract. Would not be the first misfit Jerrah has believed the 'Boys can fix.

  • Ok, well I guess like so many other issues we will know reasonably soon.

  • i 😍 you Johnny Wrecking Ball...

  • Oh... and 14...

  • I don't think he "wrecked this league", but he sure wrecked his life.

Speaking of wrecking the league, Dowell Loggains in now the OC in Chicago ... landing spot for Johnny as heir apparent to Cutler?

Nah ... John Fox wouldn't put up with his shit.

Well, in addition to 30,000 passing yards and 200 TDs, Cutler is an adult who shows up to work every day.

Kind of a prerequisite for the QB position.

    Yes he did.

So did Ken Dorsey and Joe Montana. Point?

  • Johnny was late to a stupid concussion treatment that some you guys said was phony.

He bailed on his teammates and missed treatment at the end of the last two (his only) seasons.

McCown had a concussion he watched his teammates from the bowels of the stadium.

Manziel had a concussion and he flew to Vegas and was a no show on gameday.

He is not a wide receiver.

    He is a quarterback.

    He was The Starting Quarterback.

Quaterbacks are leaders of men. John has not shown he can be that.

It's pretty simple. Everyone can't wait to bail on him .... except you. Which is peculiar.

  • It really feels like Johnny is purposely staying in the news to try and force his way out of Cleveland.

  • There is no evidence that he flew to Vegas and back the same day within a couple hours span. Why would he? He get's a ticket at like 10am or so for expired tags and then he is photographed in a grocery store in Ohio later that same day... So he flew to vegas to play a round of black jack and wear a Halloween costume and have a drink then turns right around and flys back to Cleveland hours later...

It seems like a setup or a contrived bullshit story to stir the pot and sell headlines to me...
