U.S. to receive lung cancer vaccine from Cuba
-
Several small trials using the vaccine have had promising results. The results of a phase 2 trial for people with advanced non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) were published in early 2008. The trial involved 80 people with stage 3b and stage 4 NSCLC. Everyone in the trial had chemotherapy. After chemotherapy was complete, half of the people had the vaccine. The aims of the trial were to find out
- If the vaccine could help people live longer
- What side effects people have
- The immune response people had to it
The results showed that people who had the vaccine lived slightly longer β on average about 4 to 6 months. It also improved peopleβs quality of life by reducing symptoms such as coughing and breathlessness.

LOL.
Still, if the science is solid, then great.

Hey if it works, I don't care where its from.
-
Same, if Exxon and BP come up with a clean-burning petrol, then great.

all made possible because a president finally said "now why are we at odds with them?, oh right they kicked our old mobsters and their stooges in the cuban govt out of havana and we was salty bout that"
It really is amazing how much bullshit with cuba could have been avoided if we would have accepted that Guevara and Castro were at least right about what was going on in Cuba.
-
It comes down to that evil catchword again, we were so petrified of "socialists" that we would have rather enforced the status quo of our worst mobsters running Cuba with their little forced prostitution rings and spreading out hard drugs all over the place.
-
Can't be right, no socialist country every contributed anything.
-
My dad is traveling to Cuba soon hoping to be treated with this. The sooner it could get here the better

Your history lessons vary from mine. Either way.all made possible because a president finally said "now why are we at odds with them?, oh right they kicked our old mobsters and their stooges in the cuban govt out of havana and we was salty bout that"
