It doesn't really make a difference narrow win/narrow loss in Texas since it's proportional and not winner-take-all. Though I think Cruz dropping out benefits Trump more than anybody else and Rubio has the Bush money behind him now so he probably won't drop out.

Though none of it really matters, Trump has already won.

The GOPs last breath is fighting for Romney as a result of a brokered convention - which is entirely Retard and isn't going to happen, but they're desperate.

Well all the 'experts' on Morning Joe disagree with you on Rubio. He is way behind in the polls in Florida and if he doesn't win anything today they think he will quit within 2 days.

They should hire me, because I'm always right with my political forecasts.

Still think Cruz wins Texas but even so the race is realistically over for him. His whole strategy was to win big on Super tuesday in the southern states and ride the momentum into the next wave March 15. Winning Texas will keep him on life support. If by some chance he would exceed expectations and win a couple other states today it could breathe some new life into his campaign but that is a shot in the dark.

  • Trump blows out Georgia.

Probably won VT and VA but they're too close to call with the exit polls apparently.

Sanders won Vermont, Clinton wins Georgia and VA

Don't be a sore winner. This was a very big night for Trump. Cruz lives on but barely. Trump has won most of the southern states which were must win states for Cruz. I don't see where Cruz goes from here. Rubio hasn't won a state yet and it looks bad for him in his own home state. It looks like the game is over for Trump to win the republican nomination.

Trump also gave a good victory speech tonight I thought. I think he is trying to heal some wounds which he needs to do as he has had a scorched earth policy in winning thus far. As long as Cruz is in the race I'm going to vote for him but if it is Trump versus Clinton in the general election I"m voting for Trump.

Trump already won the nomination, but I'm still gonna make fun of the loser States.

He probably has sewn up the nomination and he acted that way with his speech tonight. He congratulated Cruz and said only a few attack words against Rubio and the rest of his speech he attacked Hillary Clinton. Trump was rightfully bragging about all the states he won tonight but I didn't see him gloating about. Trump is certainly looking now past the primaries to the general election. He knows he will need the Rubio and Cruz supporters in his camp this fall.

  • Donald Trump (Republican): Alabama, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Virginia, Arkansas, Vermont

Ted Cruz (Republican): Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska

    Marco Rubio (Republican): Minnesota

Hillary Clinton (Democrat): Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, Massachusetts

Bernie Sanders (Democrat): Vermont, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Colorado

    Update: Teddy takes Alaska.

  • Chris Christie sharing the stage with that walking paper mache monster is the most terrifying to me.

He is the Palin to burnt salmon-face's McCain.

  • Well I supported Christie for president until he dropped out. Not sure he is the running mate to bring the party together.

And they will really need some rank-and-file Republicans on board.

Attorney general? I'm in. I don't like the hard stance against weed but I don't much care. I figure that horse is out of the barn.
