CBS reporting that we also made a nice offer to Scwartz, but then Sashi Brown retracted it. No idea what is going on. I think it's pretty clear we're going to lose Benji, Mack, and Schwartz. I realize you can't overpay for people, but a 3-13 team losing the few producing players it has can't be good, right?

At least we have Cam Erving, right? Oh...wait...

We still have Johnny and Dwayne so all is not lost

  • This is a reality that many here don't want to face, no FA worth anything is coming to Cleveland unless they completely overpay. This organization is a complete shit show and now it's starting to get sad that "homegrown" players want to get out of Berea as soon as they can.

Mack took less $ (reportedly) to leave bc of the way the Browns FO negotiated?

    Analytically speaking

Can't be... remember how agents all loved Sashi for his approach to negotiating???

  • We'll now have 3 extra compensatory 3rd-round picks in the 2017 draft. Clap it up for the FO!

    Certainly close enough for me...

As in the past have to wait for all the replacement pieces to judge the net impact.

  • And ATL added Sanu with a 5-yr, $32.5mm deal.... seems high to me.

For a #2 WR, that is a bit steep.
