Right? Maybe we shouldn't memorialize everyone. Bowie is one thing. The guy who once played a gig with herman's hermits and then retired to farm snails maybe not so much.
Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind... -
I can't think of anyone more influential to the history of popular music than George Martin.

No, that guy became the bass player for Led Zeppelin.

Another Beatle is gone.
The 5th or 6th?
His kid's work (with some help from Dad) repeatedly blew my mind with the Love Album.... curve ball after curve ball...
Everything old was new again...

The fifth Beatle - Billy Preston - died some time ago.
Personally I think Billy Preston was one step above meaningless to The Beatles music.

I've heard it often but there's a reference in a website called The Beatles Bible. Some guy that Lennon became enamored with and wanted him to join the band. (McCartney said hell no) This is like 68 or 69 and I think he played on three or four songs.
