Rams trade to number 1
-
Let's see, the Rams are moving back to LA....Goff is the California kid....
and they are very interested on Wentz? I'd say they will pick Goff, it will light
up their local base, sell season tickets like crazy.
But if they want the best qb for the Browns, they will pick Wentz.
And, if they pick Wentz...just think what the hell is the deal with not picking..Goff.
If Wentz is gone, trade down. If the Rams don't pick Goff, he could fall. I'd take the
chance on him in the ...third round.... LOL LOL.
"sigh" I wish the draft would just get here, now more than years past.....

Goff is from Northern California which is nowhere near LA so yes he's technically from California but Northern California and Southern are basically two different states and hate each other so he wouldn't be such an easy sell to the LA fans.

Rams trade the bank. For 1st, 4th and 6th in 2016 they give up 1st in 2016 and 2017, both 2nds in 2016 and 3rd in 2016 and 2017.
Now the Browns are in the drivers seat for their own megadeal.
-
That's a hell of a lot to give up isn't it, I'm hoping we can pull off something similar for the #2 pick.

When you put it all together, the rams have given up their next two firsts, seconds and thirds, for their QB of choice.
Somewhere in washington, someone is feeling like karma does in fact exist.

It's not like they are the Broncos either, a trade like that for a QB needy team with few other holes on the roster makes some sense.
Rams have plenty of holes and needs.

Enough holes, to be sure, but also a mean D-line and running game. Get Tavon Austin involved more and it could be fun.
Also, look for Nick Foles to be traded for like a 5th or something.

So do the Browns but why do I have the feeling we outsmart ourselves and fail to trade down. Rookie is a rookie by any other name and we have a ton now in the FO. In a very deep defensive class we have an opportunity to add to our 10 picks quite substantially. Take Dak later.
Edit: If no one wants to trade much for the #2 QB, then you know our QB pick there is fucked. That would lead me to take BPA instead of a QB.

Who will trade for Foles, Jets maybe?

Wow, if they pulled that trade for goff..,,,man someone's gonna get canned I that FO hard in about a year or two.
That is a complete organizational brain fart.

If I was a Rams fan I wouldn't watch a down of Rams football next year

Shortly followed by Jeff Fisher. That guy has made a career out of mediocrity in St Louis and will do the same in LA.

Silver lining? The #Browns could now auction off #2 QB between SF and Philly.

Not a bad idea....if they truly had just one single guy in mind and that guy is gone to the Rams.

ah. That is a good point, I think. He's closer than N. Dakota....

Sweeeeet. No QB for us!
Lynch?.....which some say may actually turn out to be the best of the bunch?
Again, remember....In December Lynch was the #1 guy. Wentz was not even considered a first round pick. That didn't happen until Mid-February. Goff was in there, somewhere.
-
as a St Louisan watched Snead closely...at the top always goes for the most athletic player...that would be Wentz
Goff would help sell tickets but against the grain..hope you guys draft Goff or tarde down a little and end up with Lynch and extra picks...even Jones at the top of the 2nd
-
We could still trade back with Eagles or 49rs ......I do not understand why the Rams did not trade with us for less ...they must of heard Eagles or 49rs were after the number 1 pick too so they wanted their QB .....we are in a good position to trade with one of the other QB needy teams
I do not understand why the Rams did not trade with us for less...
When you have a player you really want, there is only one sure place to get him...
If the Rams take Wentz.... Tour should buy me a root beer someday.....
That's doable... but of course if they take Goff or we take Goff at 2, then I believe the drinks would be on you...
