I think they probably just made a business decision for publicity. In other words stick it in the eye of the conservatives and mainstream, so the younger people who shop at their stores more often than Walmart would be energized. We will see if it works.
At the end of the day the whole thing is a stunt, a solution that did not have a problem.

I believe there have already been a handful of reports showing lost money from tourism in NC. Plus instances like PayPal choosing to not put an office there. Hell, you have the UK issuing warnings about traveling to NC because of their LGBT laws.

Transgenders want to use the women's restroom because it makes them feel like a woman. In their distorted minds they actually think they're female. So when they can use the restroom of their choice they feel disrespected. That's what it is.
