  • Cheerleaders to accordions. Who needs a full circle? Anyway my point of John Lennon being a puss.

First of all the most I like about the Beatles is the name. Beat les. That's really cool. The early stuff with the "love me do" type songs had great vocals and as you know took America by storm. Then they became hippies...Which is cool but they lost that songwriting about them IMO. (although rocky raccoon is my fav)

The band breaks up probably because of many things and Yoko couldn't keep herself out of it. She sucked musically and a lot of people say she was the biggest reason for the breakup. If I was John Lennon I would've beat her ass. True. That's why he's a pussy.

He was an idealist, not a socialist.

Some people say he's a dreamer.

But he's not the only one.

Lol. I wouldn't beat my woman unless it was Yoko. Just making this clear.

Actually.............. none of them "played the "ACCORDION". They played some piano licks on the right hand, but like every rocker who ever used the accordion for some fills, they have no training in the left hand....the button side. HOWEVER................ I know very, very well, the many famous artists who were fascinated by the accordion tone. Elvis befriended a guy named Dick Contino, who while was not the greatest player, was a very good player and had charming good licks that got him on shows like Carson.

In this age of electronics and auto-tune/tone crap I having a growing appreciation for any real instrument playing musician.
  • The left hand is what makes the accordion almost impossible.

I'm also amazed at those old men playing the button boxes.

At the local music shop in my hometown there's a used accordion for sale. I'm thinking of getting it. I'm familiar with guitar and piano so I could learn maybe. I'm not wanting to play at the super bowl mind you I'm just wanting one.

Well, I guess you can give them an A for effort. Or at least a B+.

VK is right they're just posing. No left hand at all. I don't know how to play one but I can guarantee you if VK knows what's up we can believe it.
