Either side will spin any tragedy if it can benefit them politically. Don't fool yourself...

That's exactly true Woody. Did I say something other than that? I would imagine that the Democrats are in tears that it wasn't a Christian extremist.

I also imagine that the anti-muslim voters are pumping their fists in the air as we speak.

It just seemed like your latest example of acting like you're impartial and then attacking only one side...

But if you're saying both sides do it, then we're ok. If, in your example, "anti-muslim voters" means Republicans, then you're being even across both sides.

  • Of course it was another extreme Islamic terrorist. This will help Trump and hurt Hillary.

Who cares if it was or not? It's fucked up. Between this and fires that's why I never go out to clubs and shit.

Don't be naive. The media and spin cycle will go off on many different engines depending on the reason for the shooting.

You can bet your ass if this guy was a religious lunatic the Democrats will be all over this like stink on shit.

On the other hand if it turns out to be terrorism related, guess what?

It was also Latin night at this place.

Islamic terrorism. Now that they attacked gays will this finally wake the liberals up?

  • Take the day off diehard.

  • dirty, filthy Muslims doing what dirty, filthy Muslims do.

  • 50 are dead, not 20 as was originally reported.

  • Breadline Bernie blames automatic weapons, so we better pack it up.

This nice Muslim fellow wouldn't have done this if we just banned all the guns.

I can't imagine you get that idea after reading what I wrote. If it turns out to be a Christian extremist the Democrats will go wild and if it turns out to be a terrorist the anti-muslim people will go wild. What's not to understand?

But as long as you understand now that's enough I guess.

  • He was on a terror watchlist. If he walked into a store and bought those guns while on that list.....buh bye trump

  • Everytime there's an Islamic terrorist attack there's a large group of people who wish it wasn't Islam, then 99% of the time it ends up being Islam.

Maybe it's worth talking about how the ideology of Islam is influencing all this hate instead of just wishing it away every time.

  • Lol I doubt that. Hillary can't even admit there are radical Muslims

I just find it funny in your last three posts about this you have used the word Democrat each time, but you haven't used the word Republican once...

  • Probably Trump supporters would be more accurate than Republicans as a term.

But I apologize for any confusion.

"If I say something negative about any Muslim I am racist, but the guy shot gay people so if I don't say something I am homophobic. Better go to my safe space and regroup before I decide what to say."

Ok, so the people happy that it would be a Muslim are only Trump supporters, but the people happy it would be a Christian are all Democrats. Interesting.

  • I enjoy watching the responses to a sickening event. It's incredible how fast most people fly to their pulpit.

At this point, I've given up. I have have no answers, no solutions because they would involve rationality and that isn't something the people of the US are prepared for.

This will be spun into another Right v Left, US vs Them shit fight.

You really think it's unclear or just bickering with me? A substantial number of the Republican Party is desperately trying to push back on Donald Trump's perceived anti-muslim agenda.

As far as I know no one in the Democrat Party is pushing back against the gay thing or condemning Muslims for any reason.

But Trump supporters certainly are Republicans.

  • How many times have I said Trump will win in a landslide?
