Independence Day - Resurgence

Yup, your resident SiFy geek had to see it.

I'll keep it short, as it's almost 2AM. I'll maybe add a little more later. If you enjoyed the original, you're probably going to like the sequel.

It's 20 years down the road, and the Earthlings have managed to decipher enough of the alien technology to have come a long way. Of course when the aliens show up- they've advanced a bunch too.

Almost all the usual suspects return to reprise their roles- except for Will Smith, seems he got killed trying out one of the snazzy new anti-alien fighters.

It's a mix of dizzying special effects- with some parts of the movie that sort of dragged. Solid B movie IMHO.

Saw Independence Day: Resurgence I liked it. A fairly fun romp.
