Steve is 100% correct, there is a simmering anger over the futility of HOW our government is ran from either party. Different people just find different targets to point their energy toward.
Cal you know that the extreme on the right is guilty of all of those things you just complained about, I know there are some bonified wacko's on the left also.
One thing in that video I do agree with that individual is term limits.
Honestly in my lifetime if ALL lobbying was banned i think it would do wonders on how our government would actually represent its populace. (its a pipedream

It's very, very true that both sides have complete hippos rear ends/wacko's.
I don't get extremists' views.
I remember Shep talking about being "frightened" and "these are very dark days" (Patriot Act/Iraq) etc etc.
Not calling him an extremist, but for me, I think we are in far worse times when it comes to the gov now,
(gov back door ownership of industry, new backdoor contraints on gun ownership that are vague, intentional
bankruptcy of... us?).
Extremist may be a subjective label, but none of us are extremeists.. a few goofballs here and there maybe...
but things are not right in this country. The new "New Deal" is more a dangerous move the second time around.
It makes being concerned about Bush and Cheney and the Privacy Act look ridiculous by comparison.
