  • i curse your team for cursing our team.

if you don't like our team then leave.

    and fuck off.

    cock juggler

  • didn't see the crow thing but as a fan of the team i'd just chalk it up to another open-mouthed gaff these players are putting their feet into.

i guarantee u kaep is second guessing his decision right now and when the walls in san diego come tumblin down with angry service men comin his way he won't have jim brown to back him up.

  • It's damn hard to defend the crow. That was some ugly shit that most players would never get away with.

    WSS

  • wow, just saw he crow image.

now i hate him. ignorant idiot can't even use 5th grade grammar. i hope he get's his neck broke in a run up the middle.

    for real.

  • To his credit he immediately removed it after second thoughts, apologized, fined himself his first weeks pay and has been involved with the Dallas police officers by having guts enough to attend one of the funerals of a slain officer of the 5 killed when invited. They forgave him for his screwup so I have no problem doing the same.

  • The team should have cut Crowell after he posted that dastardly depiction of an officer getting his throat cut. Clearly, this "gentleman" was advocating an act of domestic terrorism; something for which the average person would have been fired. Did the Browns organization take the high road and dissociate themselves from such a revolting act? No. They knuckled under and kept him on the team.

I'm hoping they lose every fucking game.

    This.

It was reprehensible, but there are second chances in life, and the Browns decided to give him one and he made the most of it. No use continuing to flog him.

What do you want from him at this point? They are not going to cut him, that bridge passed.

Oh shit! Hell's about to freeze over or the Apocalypse has begun. You and I agree on something. LOL! 😁

  • The Crow situation was difficult to stomach, but as previously mentioned, the man apologized and took corrective actions. He put his money where his mouth is, and it appears that the issue is now behind him. Race relations is something that people feel very strongly about, and it invokes powerful feelings. He made a bad judgment error, and he is trying to fix it.

The Browns are going to get a ton of crap for all the moves that we've made during the past few weeks, and that's just how it is for a team that continuously sucks and can't do much, if anything, right. If you're the Patriots and you make some bizarre roster moves, analysts will say, "It's just part of Hoodie's master plan, and it will all work out!" When you're the Browns, you don't get that luxury. Nor do we deserve it. The recent article outlining our atrocious string of first round draft picks hit me very hard. These are the picks that fans spend hours reviewing and dreaming about. Guys that can come in and really make a difference. Guys whose jerseys people want to wear on Sunday and can't wait to read about in practice and camp. And what have we gotten out of these picks? Next to nothing. If you put the top ten players that are available on a dart board and threw a dart, you'd probably have a better chance of finding talent, and that's just crazy.

His second year hasn't started yet, so it's obviously WAY to early to know for certain, but Danny Shelton is quickly going down that road as I've previously mentioned. He doesn't do anything special. He doesn't make an impact. He's kind of just "there". At our last preseason game I watched him a great deal, and he does nothing special. Before you bite my head off, YES...I saw the forced fumble. That was a good play, but does ONE good play counteract an entire half (plus some) of nothing football? I saw Shelton in the game in the second half, presumably against the Bucs' second string guys. Didn't look like he did much better against them. I'm not calling him a bust, or saying he's awful. He's barely out of his rookie pants. But what I see doesn't excite me...AT ALL. I mean, God forbid we get someone like Aaron Donald. Why couldn't our talent evaluators see that he was a beast? And it's not like Donald is a guy who came into his own after his 3rd season. The guy was a beast immediately! And yes, I realize that 14 other teams didn't evaluate him correctly either, but Jesus man.

  • ok so you wanna accept his apology but the whole black community won't do the same for people that had nothing to do with their oppression years and years and years ago.

    double standard much?

it's kinda hard to take back a pic of him slicing a cop's neck with blood gushing out considering the intent was well thought out and produced. sorta like pre-meditated don't you think? sorta like blowin something up, getting caught, and then going, 'oops, my bad. didn't mean it. forgive me.'

fuck him. he sucks ass anyways.

  • So if a white player posted up a picture of a white man killing a black man on instagram, he'd be cut immediately, and the team would apologize. no questions about it. The double standard is baffling.

  • didn't see the crow thing but as a fan of the team i'd just chalk it up to another open-mouthed gaff these players are putting their feet into.

i guarantee u kaep is second guessing his decision right now and when the walls in san diego come tumblin down with angry service men comin his way he won't have jim brown to back him up.

u wanna change something? run for office. or how about this? you go into your neighborhoods (yes yours) and you try and clean it up and protect the good people there from the scum buckets that your people produced because lack of parenting or whatever other excuse u can come up with cuz the blame it on whitey thing is getting old.

Mik, the black ghettos were absolutely created by "Whitey". Familiar with Roosevelt's Federal Housing Act? If not, read into it, specifically what was referred to as "Redlining". All the black Americans were forbidden from owning property in certain parts of this country, and were all thrown into our present day ghettos. Middle class white America fled to the suburbs, and almost all industries followed. So you were left with black Americans, in an area with low property tax (which equates to shitty schools), no industry (no full time, livable means of employment in the area), and then welfare incentivized women to be single mothers.. All a recipe for the clusterfuck of misguided, uneducated youth growing up in a dilapidated environment with drugs and guns at every corner? Does all of this excuse anyone's behavior? Absolutely not. But human beings are a product of their environment, and will adapt according to their surroundings. Until we change the environment, the same shit will continue.

Change the environment? I'd like to hear how. Since the days of Lyndon Johnson and his "Great Society" been damn proven throwing money at a problem won't make it go away.

All we've created is an "entitlement" culture in said Ghetto.

  • Every inner city since the dawn of time has been high crime.

  • Starting to go off the football track, the guy that started the thread is nothing but a troll, so let's end this.

Mik ... I'm not sure what rock you were passed out under this Summer, but here it the original thread and how it developed:

    http://thebrownsboard.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40905&hl=crowell&page=6

I was the first to call for his head. But at some point you had to feel that he had sincerely done enough, or your just going to hate him the rest of his career.

Free to choose and discuss either. But do it in the original thread, this OP doesn't deserve our attention.
