Well, like I said, it may be completely obscure such that no one will be able to get it.

    Oh someone will eventually cheat.

    😉

It's a classic one, one of the best films ever. I figured it was harder to cheat, but if you want me to refrain from classic foreign films in the future, i'll keep it to just American.

It has been more than long enough. I did look it up......and it is absolutely an obscure quote that no one would have ever been likely to get. Give the answer.

  • He gave a good clue that it was a classic foreign film, I figured it was Fellini, and I googled it and it was.

Pretty well-known film, although I don't remember the dialogue, just the beautiful girl in the fountain.

So, everyone has googled it. No one would have gotten it really without doing that. Sorry Stillmotion, but we need to move on. It is still your turn. Do another that might plausibly be guessed.

  • 24-hour time limit on guesses works well. Keeps things moving.

  • It was all over - I was dead. What would it be? The guillotine? Hanging? The chair? The rack? The Chinese water torture? Hmmph. Mere child's play compared to what surely awaited me.

  • But even if he does Spill the Beans stillmotion is still on the clock.

The movie is a classic and one that is um many movie Buffs have seen.

  • The film was "La Dolce Vita", and that quote was from Steiner, the rich man who took his own life and his kids lives after meeting with Marcello and expressing his distaste for society.

    Alright, Here's an easier one.

"It's like I was playing some kind of game, but the rules don't make any sense to me. They're being made up by all the wrong people. I mean no one makes them up. They seem to make themselves up."

  • Oh fuck Stillmotion dont you ever watch cool shit?

Stillmotion stopped going to the 'talkies' after the 60s apparently!

24 hour rule and no one got this.

It' from A Christmas Story.....said by the narrator right after the "Oh....Fudge" incident.
