Agreed....yesterday was far and away his best game as a Brown.....dont look now, but he already has like 12 stops, which puts him on track to triple his tackle totals from last year.......

Id say he was THE difference in our run defense yesterday.....with a solid assist from Davis and Kirksey(who is playing great)

As I said elsewhere we are a great pass rusher away. Please God let us be in position to get Garrett (via Philly hopefully). Put on a dominant show against Auburn @ Auburn Sat. McShay was having an orgasm over him in the broadcast booth.

Our D is more than a great pass rusher away. The back end gets destroyed more that, well, your mother's? Smack talk is amazing. Someone like a Jalen Ramsay would be really good. Haden is solid enough but the combination of Taylor and Williams is not getting it done at CB, and while Kindred and Campbell are solid looking players, they're both hitters, we're still missing the free safety with all the clichΓ©s - center fielder, ball hawk, roaming playmaker etc - and Jordan Poyer is not that guy.

That being said, a great pass rusher would be most welcome. DB and edge rusher on D, RT, C and QB on O. Five players. Handy, then, that we have five picks in the first 3 rounds. QB, Edge, RT, DB, C in that order.

Does he have any drinking problems and/or date mentally ill whores?

He writes poetry, loves dinosaurs and wants to start his own museum. He "eschews" (his word) social media. Parents are educators. 1st class guy from a 1st class family.

PS-loves to lead by example and feels no play should ever be taken off if you are on the field. He is not pulling a Clowney "no risk" final year.

Well gee willy Tex, maybe if you're lucky he'll ask you to the big dance this weekend?

After being drafted by the Browns: "I love dinosaurs, poetry,......and COCAINE!"- Myles Garrett

  • And how was our line last year with Thomas, mack and schwartz? Because if I remember correctly the talking heads bitched about how much it sucked constantly. Mitchell schwartz on skates and all that.

  • Sorry guys pissed off and drunk after our loss didn't expect to get jumped on like that.

I tailgated, was jacked up after scoring 3 TDs in a row - then we blew it in spectacular fashion

our indoctrination is truly impressive. the refs conducted a fine loss and like good Patsys we just think the team just sucks lol

  • The pass rush has to improve, hell Flacco had all day to throw with a 3 or 4 man rush.

Shelton put no pressure up the middle at all. The DEs put pressure in Flacco at times, but all he had to do was to step up and throw...as our DTs got NO push up the middle.

No coincidence there... A NT making plays, demanding attention (and disrupting that attention) is a ILB's best friend.

Opps... may be too late already...

No matter what I say he will still be a secret the Browns won't know about. πŸ˜† They obviously did not get my message about Dak. 😑

... and the Browns' gun-shyness is directly proportional to the rabidity of the TAMU fans...

  • Well, it's early, but it's time for me to eat a little crow. I was probably the toughest critic of Danny Shelton, and he was fast approaching "Browns First Round Normalcy". What a difference two games make. Our first game, he showed pop and strength. Not dominant, but definitely displayed some of the penetration and power that we hoped for last year. Fast forward to second game, and he WAS dominant. His numbers were eye popping, and I could hear him talking a bit of smack and really getting into the game. He did well and it was noticeable. It's early, but it makes me happy. We at least know he CAN make it happen, now it's time to see about consistency.

The improvements to get excited about begin with Corey Coleman. Browns may have caught a severe break when the refs ruled that catch a TD, because if they ruled it incomplete, I'm not sure they could have reversed it. It was a BIG break, and something our young rookie desperately needed. The throw was actually perfect and Coleman made it a bit harder than it had to be. He didn't quite catch it cleanly, and he didn't drag his toes with the second foot. Obviously this is VERY difficult to do, but he's a pro. This catch gave him the confidence he needed to go out and look for the ball. You could see the difference. I absolutely LOVE how he jumped for that deep ball. That's something you just can't coach. The second TD was a result of the first. Had to respect the speed and play off, and that's what happened.

in space Corey Coleman is nearly undefendable 1 on 1.

  • I think the biggest thing Corey needed was confidence. It's one thing to do it in practice, but to do it in a GAME and at home are so very different. You could just feel that he was in the game and wanted to make plays after his first TD, and I can't say enough how important that review was. Corey now knows he can do it, and now we'll be expecting even more. We're holding him to a high standard, and Hue already said he wants to extract every possible ounce of talent out of him.

I wouldn't mind seeing a reverse with Coleman. I'd start off by running the "fake reverse, RB blast up the middle" a few times. Get the defense thinking about it, but run the RB up the gut first. After they see that a few times, hit Coleman for the reverse.
