McCown/Nassib potentially out for awhile

  • Of curse they are.

  • For those keeping score at home, that's our starting QB, backup QB, starting center, and two starting DEs lost to injury (Des Bryant too).

  • Another league source tells me: "Not looking good for #Browns QB Josh McCown.'' (Expect him to be out an extended period w/ left shoulder)

    Cody time ......

  • McCown is a gritty bastard, but damn if he doesn't hold on to the ball for way too long sometimes. He literally could have avoided 4-5 hits yesterday just by playing smarter.

Call it whatever you want, but there's a reason top QB's stay healthy and that's because they know when to go down and or let it go. God Bless McCown because you can't fault a guy for hanging tough but there's a limit at the position

  • Well, when he took the job, Hue said that "he loved a challenge"........ Careful what you wish for.

  • 3 starters, 3 games.

    What a wild ride

  • Cleveland.com is reporting that the shoulder injury is serious for McCown and Nassib may require hand surgery.

With Nassib, that injury may not keep him out for long. They may just put a cast over his hand and let him get out there. He can then use the cast as a club to bludgeon his offensive line opponents.

    Quarterback is another matter.

  • ^^^If he was a veteran on a playoff team I'd consider it, but taking a risk for arguably our best draft pick to get him 3-4 weeks of game time doesn't make much sense to me.

    Fair enough.

The Sausage King can play the spot OK.

i believe they still woulda hit him even if he got rid of it sooner, because they weren't getting penalized for it. it's almost like they knew.
