  • Anybody see this Mitch Trubisky QB? Tony grossi said something about him being a sleeper qb the other day and he just had a huge game against a ranked opponent he's also a local kid from Mentor,OH

He's a project. He has some amazing arm talent, I'll give him that. Guy has the best arm I've seen in a while, he's RIPPING some of those intermediate throws. Deep ball is a little shaky. Falls off of his throws a lot. Doesn't show much of inidication of being able to work the pocket. UNC is running a lot of underneath and negative routes and getting Switzer the ball in space, which pads his stats.

I don't know anything about his mental ability or experience, but I'd certainly take a go at him in the later rounds if available just based on some of those pro caliber throws.

Stan....Atenears should pop in and give us a scouting report.

What is his draft status? Coming out next year? or beyond?

You don't think we need an edge rusher? I do. Perhaps as much as anything. (but those other things are needed tool)

Yes, except for a few well timed blitzes, Cousins had all day to throw yesterday.

  • Yep, just watched Miami's Kaaya make a perfect corner of the endzone completion in stride (to the wrong team). Sign him up. 😁

If he leads his receiver to the back pylon was his only shot. But, If this storm keeps up I'll be in a Kayak by morning

Anyone know of a good cardiologist down this way? A&M over Tenn with an interception in double overtime 45-38 with a one legged Myles Garrett pushing the LT into the QB on the last play.

  • There are a few positions on this team that should be looked at. Some priorities:

    1. QB.......unless we can "trust" Hue Jackson and this Kessler kid becomes the next Brian Sipe...or becomes as Smooth as Joe Montana was Cool.

    2. RT/RG.....bad mistake letting The Schwartz go. Or do Coleman and Drango and Bailey work out in these spots. Pasztor is backup material.

But that is it on offense.

    Defense:

    1. A pass rusher. Unless Ogbah and Orchard prove that they can produce here the way they did in college (and they have not done so yet) we need pass rusher. If they really don't want to go high for a QB....a Myles Garret would not hurt.

    2. Defensive Backfield. Safety and Corner. Haden hurt and older. Tramon Williams average at best. No other standouts. Would a Jabil Peppers be a good play? Perhaps....but our own Michigan man here...Woody, has made some statements to the effect that he may not be so elite as people think. That he may be a "tweener".

    3. Depth at Linebacker. Though if it would be Garrett that would constitute more than "depth".

    4. A kicker? Late rounds? WTF, if we have the extra picks it may be worth it to nail that position down...which has been an issue the last couple of years.

Mason Cole is a very good center, but I don't think he's leaving.

  • Waiting to see some expert player analysis from D Bone. Especially considering the day Bosa is having right now...

    d1ef7580-809b-450a-b9e2-7df93ee7a140_zps

  • yep. i can't turn a channel without seeing a bosa highlight. lol.

  • AGAIN with the damn draft. smh. SOOO we draft a guy have him ride the bench for a few season so he can learn the game smh so all of you are ok with rebuilding excuses from this fo? FREE AGENCY spend money get players who have a clue how to play and win. We have maybe 4 or 5 players that should be in the NFL the rest are awful.

  • Anybody see this Mitch Trubisky QB? Tony grossi said something about him being a sleeper qb the other day and he just had a huge game against a ranked opponent he's also a local kid from Mentor,OH

This the guy I REALLY like. Just watched him beat my Seminoles, and he's unflappable. Additionally, his childhood dream is to play QB for the Cleveland Browns, AND his nickname is "Mr. Biscuit." How well does that go with the Dawg Pound?? Hahahaha.

  • I am watchin Chad Kelly more and more these days. Mannings, Mathews, Fuller. As Jim Kelly's nephew the kid should be dissected inside and out.

Other than that Im not extremely high on any of these qbs.

I think Kessler looks sound enough to bridge the gap until the franchise is found. He is by far and away the most nfl ready qb the browns have found since 99. I really believe Hue has found at least the back up qb for this team for the next decade or so. Kessler may never put the team on his back and win a game by himself. but I don't believe he will lose you games either.

Back up QB locked up for a decade with a 3rd round pick? That's a really good draft pick.

This came from I think CBS Sports, and they had him listed as a probable draftee next year. But, sure, half the guys that are drafted probably have the option to stay in school.

  • I agree Mitch has looked very good, Luke Falk has also started to get some more praise and is beginning to be considered a top QB Prospect 🙂 Rumor is he is extremely high to some NFL personnel.

  • Trubisky looks great.

  • I watched the VT/UNC game. Trubisky looked pretty atrocious.
