I think he's making the point that there are those on the right that are against gay marriage because they want to preserve the "sanctity of marriage". They use the bible for this belief, among other things.

First of all I've never accused you of being an Obama lover beyond the fact that you regularly attack anyone who says something bad about him. Or Hillary.
As for the sanctity of marriage I don't think anyone who has ever been divorced or slept with more than one woman comes to that issue with Clean Hands. If in fact that's a point they want to make.
