  • Hillary Clinton’s strength with the early vote in Florida is propelling her to a lead in the key battleground state, according to a new poll released today by TargetSmart and William & Mary. In the poll, Clinton holds a 48 to 40 percent lead over Donald Trump in the Sunshine State, a more advantageous position for Clinton than most other publicly available polling has suggested in the last week or so.

As of the morning of November 1st, 2016, TargetSmart tracks that 3,695,359 people have already cast their votes in Florida.

Leveraging TargetSmart’s 's proprietary voter file - that is updated daily through the early voting window - this poll reached a significant number of voters who have already participated. Among those early voters (who were asked which candidate they had voted for), Clinton outpaces Trump by a 17-point margin, 55 to 38 percent.

In an interview the CEO of TargetSmart stated the crossover of Dems to Trump was running at 6%. Historically this is a normal crossover percentage.

With data collected through the weekend the CEO went on to say that there was no significant shift in the percentages following the Friday communication by the FBI.

Hispanics are crossing over in large numbers in the Presidential elections, but seem to be sticking with their Rubio for Senate.

  • My friend's inlaws immigrated from Argentina. They live in Florida. Have voted Republican every election since they got citizenship (mid 70s). They are voting Clinton. The 'rapists' comments and getting pissy about that judge being Mexican rubbed them the wrong way.

They have said they will vote GOP again when they don't run someone like Trump.

I suspect there's a lot of that going around, and probably some on the other side. I suspect there's an awful lot of people swinging to third parties.

First of all keep in mind that Cubans and Mexicans don't consider themselves the same just because they share a language. So do the Irish and British.

Second of all the Cuban refugees from the Castro butchery are getting old and have forgotten the bad old days.

lmao... even you have more depth than that article... Wait! Maybe you don't...

    BEFORE:

You told me that the poll finding that 23% of Repubs crossing-over in Florida was explainable because one of your conspiracy rags said Dems in other states were crossing over their registrations so they could fuck with Republican primaries. That that was the reason the poll found so many crossing over when they voted early.

    Remember???

    NOW:

In Florida it's great news that out of 3.7mm early ballots "thousands more Republicans" have voted.

    So which is it?

    Can't be both...

    Cha Cha Cha...

There may be some entertainment value left after all...

Wait till he accuses you of trying to change the subject...then changes the subject mid-way through his reply. Hysterical.

  • no dancing, it is good news that more ...genuine ....republicans are registered to vote,

I'm assuming, that only 28 percent are phoney republicans, so that's 72 percent of those

"more reps" have increased as NOT phoney republicans.

There also the possibility that some dems registered as reps because they

are pizzed off at the corruption in the democratic brown shirt party.

Which you are a member of, si?

Think, stop emoting. 72 percent is more than 28 percent, and the 28 percent is probably a bit too high...

    A. Yes !

    B. No, but I don't know why, it's just an emotional knee jerkie.

  • Lol this is just a poll. 28% of so-called republicans that they talked to are saying they will vote for hildebeast. It's already been shown they know how to skew demographics to get a desired end result. Big whoop.

  • By the way your beloved aggregate polling numbers, as skewed as they are, show Trump winning.

    Which aggregate poll is that?

538 odds are still 9:5 Clinton.
