Lol, exactly. We've been so conditioned around here to speculate about what might happen with players, the FO, etc.

I'm looking forward to the day we can speculate about an upcoming playoff opponent instead of all the draft talk.

By injury or by choice???.....cause the word that Hue is planning on going with RGIII is getting louder and louder by the day.....seems to be what all the local pundits are now expecting....

Hue, do you have the rose colored Robert glasses on? Will Sashi tell action Jackson- get a grip on reality, he's inaccurate, injury prone, can't read a defense- and will never duplicate his rookie year?

This is silly season from here on out. I will take nothing said seriously that could effect projected draft decisions.

We could be sitting months from now with RG3 giving the "I will do my best to help the new kid along" speech.

what i saw of trub yesterday really didn't sell me on the option of using the #1 on him.......BUT (i know this is crazy) i kinda trust hue when evaluating QBs. kessler turned out to be one of the bright spots in last year's draft. question is is he a guy that can be a 10 year starter for us and move us up into the playoffs and beyond? trub has all the phys. features people look at in pro game but i don't know if it was NC crap football or.....???

what i did see yesterday was some good defensive play from the kid out of FLA state. the real pros take the field later today. after all is said and done tomorrow will give us a better view of direction browns need to go.

I know this is fantasy, but I would really like for a QB prospect to fall in our lap! As in instead of trading up to 22 to draft JFF. Staying put and getting Carr! If the Browns want a QB at say # 10 it would be cool if Trubisky or whomever/who ever would be slotted there, and be there! IF NOT MOVE ON!!!! R.G. needs to mentor Kessler or........! Josh Mc. Maybe kept as an assistant QB or O coach!

basically what we did choosing kessler last year.

either it's a #1 this year (franchise guy.....trub or kizer??) or draft the DE or LB. don't waste the #1 on a QB you're guessing on. either kessler is the starter or a career backup.

when you are rebuilding the RIGHT WAY, maybe RGIII might be the starter next year...

in preseason, a few games, and then the qb they wanted and got in the draft or trade will have to come in,

and the rest will be history.

How can you decide about RG3 after only a couple games behind a awful Oline?I am behind Hue 100% And this team.

Easy....you watch him play.....compare him to the other QB's playing under the same circumstance.....see how he executes.....watch his terrible throws.....count his touchdowns....

Players dont have to play on great teams to be evaluated.....truth is, great players play great.....bottom line.....

Then none of these guys do makes any sense to me......

We're gonna start and play RGIII as a smoke screen?......when the point of tanking this whole season was to play the young guys who are to be our future?......and were gonna sit Kessler(the just drafted future?) and not play him, when playing the young guys was the whole point of this season?

Nope......me thinks Hue thinks RGIII is good......

Put it this way, Mud...

If we have our future QB (take your pick of the prospects) penciled in at #10-ish, then what better way to diminish/discourage the trade-up market than to let your HC go on and on about his current starter?

Gotta say Im not a fan of RGIII....dont see it.....BUT, still kinda want him and Kess to be the guys next year.....

Why?....

1) Im rsigned to the long term rebuild, so whats another year to see if these 2 have it....both have had limited opps

2) Im not sold on any QB's early this season.....and that includes picking any with 1st-2nd-3rd round picks.....

3) We can make a huge impact on our defense this year.....and we should seize the opportunity to do it, instead of rolling dice on projects early.....
