Except for like one single year since like the late 90s, there has always been a turnover of at least 5 playoff teams from one year to the next.

This year is no different. Here are the teams that were in the playoffs last year that did not make it this year:

Bengals

Broncos

Redskins

Vikings

Panthers

Cardinals

The following teams did make a repeat appearance:

Patriots

Steelers

Texans

Chiefs

Packers

Seahawks

The following teams are in this year who were not in last year:

Raiders

Dolphins

Cowboys

Giants

Falcons

Lions.
