Of course it was a softball interview. It was a puff piece.
I'm fully aware of what it was so it didn't particularly piss me off but it's nothing worthy of respect.
More like a 16 magazine interview with Donny Osmond.

He let obama talk about his 8 years in office and on a decent amount of stuff i found him to be dead square on. The stuff with russia maybe not so much but thats current shit that he cant tell us everything on

No I wouldn't consider it a talk show and if you do you probably never seen it or don't know anything. Sunday morning political news magazine show and panels discussing the news and interviews with politicians. And I don't expect Stephanopoulos to give anything but softballs to a Democrat.Isn't that show a "talk" show?
I wouldn't expect journalism from that kind of show. Be it Stephanopoulos, or someone like Jimmy Kimmel, or Bill O'Reilly

Anyway this was the special edition of the show with Stephanopoulos holding Obama's hand not usual show format. I try to watch this one and Fox News Sunday every week. I would have liked to see the interviewer ask a little bit more probing questions, not even a hatchet piece but... And like I said since it was George Stephanopoulos I wasn't shocked.

Why would i? If trump goes on fox news and sits with his good buddy hannity why would i be mad? When a rep president goes on fox im not expecting him to get skewered. Im not a stupid idiot so when partisan networks give their candidates softball interviews it doesnt faze me, even in the middle of his presidency.
