The Browns Board

  • One question... albeit a compound one:

Who saw him go beyond his first read last night and how many times did you see it?

When he wasn't looking at obvious pre snap pressure? I can think of about 8. Of course several of those were just checking the safety over Williams. Was his second read pre determined or based on coverage? That's another question I have.

That said, there were a couple times I remember when he never left his primary against pressure.

Edit. Only saw about a 1/3 of the game. 8 was a bit generous. Maybe half dozen.

  • No. No he doesn't need to be the Browns primary target.

    This times 1000.

  • Unbelievable anybody would say these words. Every dam year the same jackasses want another qb. Let's try fixing the rest of the team first for once..

  • im not going to act like the browns will lose me as a fan over one draft pick, I'm in for the long haul.

That being said, if Cleveland drafts Watson at #1, I will literally murder myself.

  • Holy Fuck No!

    It's all good man!

  • for all that just say RGIII pt 2.....

lets remember that our coach LOVES RGIII.....and also drafted Pryor to be his QB in his last HC stint.....so wouldnt surprise me one tiny bit if he wanted Watson......

In fact.....I wonder why he goes for a guy like RGIII, then drafts a Kessler the same year.....why not at least "try" to have similar QB's to operate your system???......never made sense to me.......

He might as well sign Tyrod and draft Watson, then we'd have a full stable of run first crapola QB's////

  • There goes Mud making sense again.

  • this guy will be the messaiah for C-town!

Jesus....we're taking QB advice from the guy who spent years slobbering over Derek Anderceptions dick? The long lost idiots who have resurfaced this week make me wish the board had shut down.

Looks like the OP just might be a Clemson fan. I hope this isn't as bad as the invasion of A&M fans when Johnny came to town.

He also made a play for Colin Kaepernick. So does DeShaun Watson have a bad attitude?

they sell them in germany on a kaiser roll with mustard. it's a mix of veal, pork and some dark meat made of some crippled QB's thigh.

You know what, I have a great idea. Lets wait and see for a few weeks. Watson, if he is smart, will be at the Senior Bowl. Both guys will go to the combine and have pro days. Experts and fans alike will have time to look at highlights. I think last night, Watson put his name into the consideration and the Browns will be giving him even more of a peek.

This. ALL of this. Watson really needs to go to the Senior Bowl, especially because Hue Jackson is coaching and we hold the 1st and 12th pick of the draft. I've said it before, but Watson appears to be the kind of guy Hue likes. Of course, so does Trubisky. I listened to the radio show on Tuesday, and it was interesting. Nathan was saying there was a different broadcast that had 6 head coaches from NCAA football breaking down the "all 22" angle. He indicated that the coaches kept pointing out all of the mistakes Watson was making, and said that if people watched the normal broadcast, they would love Watson, but if they watched the coach narrated version, they wouldn't.

  • Not sure why this deserves a thread. Watson may get drafted by some team that panics.. but he's not very good, and has a 3rd-round rating by seven teams.

Cleveland doesn't need to be the team that reaches for him..

  • To Me...Watson looks like a bust waiting to happen.. I want a Pocket QB who can "Read defenses" and have a quick release.. Running QB's have a very short shelf life.. No thanks.. I'll pass on DW.

I'll be shocked if Watson plays in the Sr. Bowl.

Me neither, but I have faith in our consensus process...

If all the groups come up with Watson as the answer so be it... but not seeing that as likely.

Put in more detail than what I previously posted, but 100% agree.
