    I think the point is not about the socioeconimic validity of communism as a political system but rather the massive hyperbole demonstrated by the quoted poster(s) who now claim we should all give Trump a chance as they gave Obama a chance.

    But I've been wrong before...

    cal's as stubborn about politics as gipper is about everything else - even when you have actual (not alternative) facts and quotes to show them wrong they'll dig in, try to twist in the wind and spin something that maybe if you squint and have a pint of vodka doesn't seem completely contradictory.
