Nobody is against peaceful protests but what gets called protests today is more like rioting. It doesn't matter what side of the fence you are on... violence, vandalism and destruction are never OK and those involved need to face punishment.

@realDonaldTrump Peaceful protests are a hallmark of our democracy. Even if I don't always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views.
That is what Trump said about the women's march and I agree with it. The day before however there were rioters at the inauguration and these were not protestors and we have seen this before at Ferguson and Baltimore among other places and that is what I am speaking about.
