Hall of Fame Finalists

no bust needed for Jerry Jones. Just sit him at the door like a Walmart door greeter..pull his string & "How bout MY CowBoys"..Congrats LT..a badass little man
Only thing Jerry Jones did was make a lot of money for the other owners. Here's his contribution- $$$$$$$. How 'bout those billion dollar stadiums and $9 beers? Screw that shit. I've said for a long time there should be a separate wing for owners- just like the Baseball HOF has a wing for contributors and writers.

Right. Really. What besides greed and money has he really contributed to the game?
(and FYI Larry....he was put in under the "Contributor" category....and how did he get put in over Tagliabue?)
I would have thought that the sports writers who did the voting on this would be more discerning.

The List of Finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame has been released. Here they are:
LaDanian Tomlinson
Brian Dawkins
Jason Taylor
Morten Andersen
Tony Boselli
Isaac Bruce
Don Coryell
Terrell Davis
Alan Faneca
Ty Law
John Lynch
Kevin Mawae
Terrell Owens
Kurt Warner
Joe Jacoby
Senior Committee Nominee: Kenny Easley
Contributors: Paul Tagliabue, Jerry Jones.
So, make your choices. Pick 5 from the top group.
Tomlinson, Davis, Taylor, Anderson and Warner made it.
As well as Easley and Jones.
Terrell Davis has been a cause of mine ... Glad to see it happen.

In reality, all of the 15 player finalists can be seen as worthy. I note that out of like 4-5 O linemen, none made it.

Wasn't crazy about Davis, but don't mind him making it. Taylor and Jerrah on the other hand...
1st Time HOF Eligibles for Class of 2018:
LB Ray Lewis
WR Randy Moss
G Steve Hutchison
DE Richard Seymour
LB Brian Urlacher
CB Ronde Barber
Barber and Seymour look a little out of place in that list. Stevie Hutch was the bomb at OG.

I think Taylor deserves it....but he is the first Zip ever to make it (and I am a Zip)...so I may have some prejudice. Agree on Jerry

There will be a backlog of O Linemen and WRs next year:
WR: Bruce, Owens, Moss
Hutchinson: Jacoby, Faneca, Mawae, Boselli, Hutchinson
DBS: Barber, Dawkins, Lynch
Probably no QBs though..now that Warner is in. In fact there may not be a HOF QB go in for 4 years....when Peyton is eligible. Unless the Senior committe selects someone, like they did with Stabler last year. (Ken Anderson?).
No QB for 4 years will open up spots for other positions.

Is Warner going to the HOF as a Card or a Ram?

That was stupid.Don't know. But he's taking your mom.

Looking it up the only thing I can figure is nfl HOFers go in as a listing of their teams they played with as opposed to any logo.

That's bullshit! Billy Killmer was just as tall as Kurt is!Zombo said:
