Garrett and Hooker. Why not?
-
If Hooker slides to 12, these two potentially impact the front and back end for the next decade. Dream scenario, in ten years with the Browns, Garrett has 100 sacks and Hooker has 50 picks.
-
Or, given the Browns propensity, they become the next Kameron Wimbley and Justin Gilbert.
-
Thanks Gipper. We needed that dose of reality.

Wimbley was an undersized edge rusher and Gilbert was a straight-line corner. Nice try.

Would you feel better if Courtney Brown was the comparison? Exact same physical makeup atleast. And Brown had a significantly better college career.

No doubt Courtney Brown was a bust. Garrett just looks like a more athletic and competitive prospect who can spearhead your pass-rush.

#1 #1 on a pass rusher? A guy who is going to boot to Dallas the fist chance he can?
Only in Cleveland can fucking stupidity like this.
If he's great, franchise him. Or trade him. Garrett looks pretty close to can't miss as it gets.
-
Hooker plays like a taller Earl Thomas. Garrett looks like young Derrick Thomas. They make the Browns defense respectable by the end of their rookie seasons.

It could definitely happen since Hooker has 2 injuries that might push him down to #12. The guy had 3 pick 6's last season.

Except Garrett is not as athletic as Clowney who in turn was not as athletic as Courtney Brown. I figure Garrett will post good but not great combine numbers as his lack of work ethic is already well documented.
-
Lol he's definitely as athletic as Clowney. Both parents played pro sports and sister is a track star.
Where is said documentation?
-
Clowney prob was faster but strength wise, at least in the weight room.....garett has the edge.
-
We'll see. Clowney ran a 4.53. Garrett has supposedly timed better than that at A&M but of course the combine is more accurate. I wouldn't say automatically one way or the other.

Wait. That and Caine's post that he has a lack of work ethic can't both be true.

Everything ive heard about the kid is he has bosa's work ethic, constantly working on his shit. So i dont kniw where that came from. In the end i still think we missed out on the real deal last year and the year before with mack. But garett has that pitential, just not immediately like those other two

Show verified source [eg, including proof] or this is BS. Someone else "saying" it isn't a source.

This has Garrett the more athletic of the two based on 40, broad and vertical. 3 cone drill and shuttle will be a good comparison also.
