Great news for Vegas, and for fans of Vegas; me being perhaps the biggest. According to reports the Raiders will open the 2019 season in Las Vegas. I have already invited Stan to attend the inaugural opener with me. It will be interesting to see where his thoughts are on this.

I welcome all the good riddance horseshit that will follow, but there are some great discussion points with this move.

"Fuck You Ghoolie, if you are a Raidiers fan why not just switch allegiance now?"

Well, wait a minute, snapper heads, it is YOU fucktards who insisted that the Browns name must stay in Cleveland, not me. You blowtards are the ones who would never accept the Baltimore Browns (Browns real name). So, hell, I am just like you sissies, I am a Vegas loyalist. Fuck the Raiders..................until that is they start fresh in Vegas.

I wonder if the Raiders fans will cry like pussies and demand that the name and colors stay in Oakland? Boo Hoo.

This is a great day for the NFL, and certainly a great day for the Ghoolmiester. Buh bye shit stains........hello Vegas.

Only pussies switch their team allegiance. and FrontRunnerAssKissers. Is that what you have become?

So, if that is the case, will that mean you will no longer patronize the Browns Board?

(or does it mean that the admins will now ban you as a troll of another team?)

Prediction: Browns win a Super Bowl before the Raiders do.

(besides...how do you know you will live long enough to even see that first Raider game in Vegas?

And no, it would surprise me if Stan would FRAK along with you. Just because he spends time in Vegas? Lots of people on this board who are Browns fans live or spend a lot of time in other cities. Z lives close to Tampa, should he become a Bucs fan? Hoorta lives in Dayton, should he become a Bengals fan? Flugel lives in Nashville, should he become a Tits fan? Tour lives near Houston, should he become a Texan fan? Ballpeen lives in Chattanooga, should he become either a Tits of Falcons fan? MarkO lives in SoCal, should he become a Chargers or Rams fan? etc. etc. etc. We got fans from the UK on here, should they switch allegiances to the Boston teams or the NY teams, simply because those are a few miles closer to the UK? (I could see a switch if the UK gets a team)

One can only hope. The king of bluster and bullshit will never leave here. He loves the attention too much. He's an attention whore and as long as he gets it, he will be here to tell us all how great he is. And if people would stop quoting is bullshit, I'd never see any of his nonsense.

Well, I just figure that if y'all let him on I will respond. I agree with him on about half of his BS....but clearly not on this subject.

Now, if he just said: "I'm moving to Vegas, and the Raiders are moving to Vegas, so I think I will take some interest in that team", that would be fine. But he tends actually to go licking the yarbles of whatever team is his flavor of the day: Raiders, Steelers, Texas Goat Fuckers...whichever.

😉 to the Lone Star state boys.

i recall another clevelander making a similiar prediction about a team way down south that wouldn't get a championship before a cleveland team did. That didn't go so well. Plus the Raiders are a really good budding team, who knows perhaps the move to Vegas gets them over the top.

About 12 million for each team...in this case. Enough to at least pay a backup QB. Probably 10 mill after the NFL get their cut. The NFL has said it will chip in to the stadium cost, so it has to get that money from somewhere.

In the case of the Chargers and Rams they each got about 24 million. Or maybe 20 after the NFL vig.

That's 20+20+10....50 million, all without having to sell a ticket or a beer.

    Regional void? What regional void?

Vegas is a transient town. No real Las Vegans were clamoring for a team, as they all probably followed a team from whence they came.

  • Does Ghoolie have to buy two seats for every plane ride he takes? Getting to Vegas has gotta be expensive.

You seem to know a lot for a guy with 14 posts...

  • i've been to vegas, besides the casino's and the ppv events....what is there? The whole state of nevada is a stupid desert. Anything decent there to look at is entirely man made. It's like a place you go to fast for 40 days and call yourself el salvador at the end.

Not too surprising. By now Oakland (for that matter so did San Diego) Knew the NFL's ground rules. Build a new stadium or we're moving. will be interesting how long the Las Vegas Gamblers last until Davis gets the wanderlust.

    • The "mods" do not have the authority to ban me. They never did. I come here as I see fit. I come here when I choose and I take leave when I decided. I don't know how fucking stupid you can be. Don't you cunts ever get tired of crying to the "mods"? "Ooh, Ghoolie is putting words on a message board. He keeps saying shit I don't want to hear, and it keeps coming true". "Boo hoo, Ghoolie keeps pissing in our faces, save us Hoorta, save us Zomblow" "Waaaaa, booo hooooooooo, the Browns are gonna show YOU, Ghoolie, just wait until you see what happens." " We are doing things that nobody can understand....except us fucktards who don't understand anything" Fucking morons.

Fuck you and your fair-weather bullshit. You are rooting for a fraud. A fucking imitation. The Browns play in Baltimore and are called the Ravens. Modell was the Browns. He still is.

Regarding why you're still here, Mr. Board Owner (& I consider him a friend) gave you an unlimited "Get out of Jail Free" card. Try to understand- that outranks what any of the Mods opinions of your posting is.

    @ghoolie said:

But seriously, for me, understand, for me, it is heaven. A few thoughts

    • As an environmental scientist the desert is a veritable historical account of creating, chemistry and geology. It appeals greatly to that part of my brain.
    • As biker, the roads and paths are phenomenal. Nice jaunts to LA, Phoenix and more
    • As a musician, the opportunities for me to play, something I really love, are abundant like no place on earth. Tons of high end restaurants for accordion work, clubs and bars for guitar work, and, perhaps I will take up a recent invite to audition for a new Cirque show slated for 2019.
    • Clean Air, no nasty pollution, factories. No snow. No rap culture turning everything to shit.
    • Hill climbing, dune buggies, zip lines, fishing, lake meade, the Colorado River,
    • Food mecca

The casinos and events? Icing on the cake, but not what I love most about Vegas.

We own a 19 acre slice. To me, it is God's country. Florida? I hope it cracks off and sails out to sea. I would shit on the beach, that's about it.

Las Vegas is in the middle of a fucking desert. It's one positive attribute is there's no bugs. If your mantra is "water is the new gold" well buy a damn clue- there's not enough water in the Colorado River to sustain unlimited growth. So get your sanitary engineering in place- just like the "Dune" novels, and figure out how to recycle toilet water that the populace will agree to. If Isis ever blew the Hoover Dam- Vegas, Henderson and a bunch of other cities would be up shit creek without a paddle. Ever drive down to Lake Meade and take a look at "Ring around the Lake" where the water level has dropped at least 15' feet if not more? Think that's an accident? You had better pray for a California once every 30 years rain event turning into a all-time snow event in the Rockies. FWIW, my neighbor across the street was a session musician in Vegas, got bored and moved back to Ohio.

Yup, no snow and lots of 115 degree days in the summer. Take your pick. To switch a quote I heard about Wyoming. "The two prettiest sights in Nevada are Wheeler Peak- and seeing Las Vegas in your rear view mirror."

  • @ghoolie said:

. No rap culture turning everything to shit.

uhhh bullshiittt. And it's only going to get worse if "da raiduhz" come to town.
