If I can remember back to the 1960s we used to take our scouts from Niles, OH to Cleveland by train and hookup around there to go to Indians games. Those were fun trips.

one bitter sweet moment as a kid, got to go see the tribe play Baltimore, double header, Bat day!
stayed for only one, (tribe loss) dreary day overcast .. PLUS didnt get a bat cuz my dads sister (aunt) was dating Jim Palmer & he left tickets at will call ....
rules said NO promo stuff when tix are free....
everyone else in muni had a bat - pounding on the stands and louder from the upper deck except me
kind of an early life lesson for me as a cleveland sports fan - and that is GET USED TO IT! haha
