He "palled around" with some extremely liberal people, he was involved in a questionable real estate deal, used drugs, etc. But we know about it. Get over the conspiracy theories and move on. Please.
I will say that there may be one or two embarrassing things that could come out later. They never got ahold of some of his college papers they were looking for, and they might be able to more concretely establish his relationships with people like Wright or Ayers. But none of that means anything now. They are questions of narrative and personal judgment, campaign issues that will be replaced by measurable performance in just a few months.

He'll get crap as long as he's in office then the two sides take off their game jerseys swap 'em with the opposition and defend the other goal post.

Most of the negativity came from Palin. McCain did run some false attack ads, but they attacked plicy and not personally. Palin is a danger to the republican party and could end up splitting up the GOP.

It's her extremist followers that would split up the party. Trust me. If she doesn't disappear, it will happen.
