Does anyone see any issues here? A Russian figure says the Russian govt. wants to support Trump's campaign and that they have dirt on Hilary. Trump Jr is excited by this info and wants to meet about it.

Frankly I am more concerned with the collusion between the major networks the major newspapers and CNN with the Democrat party. Yes I think we should have a free press and yes we have left and right wing news organizations but there should be somebody that you can trust. Not just committed to destroy the president no matter who he is.

Collusion is not illegal. Now, if Trump said, you give me the information and spread it, and If I win I'll give you a great Trade deal, and remove sanctions, that would be illegal. But virtually impossible to prove.

No concern with the other party here being a foreign government? This isn't another politician in the US offering dirt, it's Russia. Even mentioning the Russian Government's support for Trump's campaign.

Trump Jr. should have disclosed this earlier and I fault him for that but there is no story here. He did nothing illegal.

Ummm... I don't think key members of Presidential campaigns should take meetings with Russia with the hopes of getting incriminating evidence on their opponent?
I also don't think it's great for Trump to have an email stating Russia's support of his Presidential campaign.
If all you can do is say "Nothing came of it, so it doesn't matter at all!" then I think you're missing the point. But like I said, I know where this board has gone and I know I'm wasting my time

I say it doesn't matter at all because it doesn't matter at all not because nothing came of this particular attack. If someone's opponent his done something incriminating why should I be upset that that information comes from Russia or anywhere else?
Would it be better or worse if the information came from Fox News or CNN?
