was some ugly ass football on offense

to many penelties to many sacks vs the 2nd team defense

kessler sucks ass(hell Hogan looked better vs the first team defense) coach jackson should have given all the rep's to Kizer

all in all osweiler looked the most poised going against 1st team D

peppers and garrett showed why they were first round picks

Not sure if Hue really wanted to show much on offense? but I could see a attempt at trying to be more up tempo to next play. The bubbles,the vanilla tunnel vision to anybody between the hashes. hit the snooze button. Williams D calls have been messing with Hue since Hue's so called camp win of the day last sunday. Oz dropped a nice dime in the bucket on a NFL out left. Kizer's was even sweeter on same play to the right.1 Crow big run(what a block Joel) that was about it for Hue's playbook. Kessler uugg.He may have lost some baby fat on that diet but wheres this fastball,added muscle & deep ball? mid 3-4th quarter Williams had his starting front 4 maybe wearying down but Hue ran 3 dive plays right at them. On tape,Williams ain't gunna be happy against a #2OL--we have to stop the run winning up front in this division to have any chance

Camera work looked like it was done by somebody's nephew. BUT it was on purpose. They didn't want TV viewers (enemy TV viewers specifically) seeing anything.

Aside from our 2nd team beating our 1st...we didn't / couldn't see much.

The TE Holtz did himself ok out there.

As has been said, Kessler didn't show much.

The Ostrich was ok.

Kizer wasn't terrible for a rookie.

Our 1st team D was run on.

- we start things off with our backups beating our starters - friggin' beautiful

it's a scrimmage. defensive players hold up on getting qbs. it's just plain wrong to judge

based on a scrimmage. They are going against each other.

Wait til an exhibition game or two. Then we can see the real offense and defense working.

and even then, they are not playing to win a game, etc.

Orion, I believe your absolutely correct on this^^ In NC it's always a huge fan battle between Tarheels & NC State Wolfpack. Am just waiting to confirm Matthew Dayes stays with same uni number to represent in NC with Browns Jersey. Actually 2..My Daughter was in Matthew's graduating class at State 2 months ago. No way this kid should have been sitting in 7th round. When we watched him play today on the net her 1st words were "Duke Johnson enjoy playing in the slot. There's a new Wolfe & Wolverine in town" We both noticed his size change in a Browns uni. today(maybe video) but in 2 half months it's pretty amazing what a good medical,dietitian & weight room staff can do for ya

Jordan Leslie.Told jiggins to put his name in his pocket in WR topic. A big target at 6'3" 215 out of BYU..4.41 40 time.Spent time with Vikes,Jags,Atl,& Tenn. Our team WR depth chart properly have never matched those 4 teams. Maybe it's now or never? But all camp he as shown up with want to per hues presser.. now If we keep Jordan PAYTON too..were all screwed..

There was a play, late in the scrimmage where he cut out to the right and was in space....and he stopped...and shuffled his feet around...and then everyone closed in on him. Hopefully Kirby Wilson will coach him up such that if he gets out in space again, he keeps going and forces the issue (and get a couple or few more yards).

There was a Jordan Leslie who also played receiver a few years ago bu he went to Auburn. Really odd.

Brandon Wilds, FA RB from S.Carolina had several impressive runs too. Got to find a way to keep him on the roster or the PS.

I heard OZ was the only one that looked like an NFL QB, Kizer and Hogan were maybe passable and Kessler blew,

Not getting many good reports on Kessler won't be surprised if he gets surpassed on the depth charts.

Far be it from me to curb newfound enthusiasm, but as some have pointed out, he was going against 2nd teamers who probably were not as good as people in the SEC he faced on a regular basis.

But..................................that speed & bending around the edge is just uncanny.

Well....he's killing it in camp too....not just last night....

And...my enthusiasm for Garrett is not new found anything....it's been there all along.....

jackson should be fired just for the reason of splitting reps with kessler and kizer,kessler has no buisness being in the league

also the play calling when kizer was behind center (a reverse to coleman and he proceeds to throw a pick) c'mon man

Well....I do believe Ive been pretty complimentary of this years choices, compared to last years....

As Ive said all along.....I judge what I see.....not what I wish or hope for......
