WOW.............. another fucking story that means nothing.

You mean Cutler signing with the Dolphins? Sure, it means nothing to us Browns fans, but it certainly means something to Dolphin fans...and their chances for the playoffs.

I mean, it is OK if we do occasionally talk about other NFL teams on here, isn't it....since, in a sense, they are all the Browns rivals.

Then can I post about the really cool cock moisturizer I saw on The Home Shopping Network?

It isn't news about another team, dude, it is SHIT NEWS.............this is a fucking nothing story. It affects the NFL in no meaningful way. Fuck Cutler, Fuck his mother, fuck his wife, fuck the fins, fuck Joe Robbie, Fuck Florida, Fuck turquoise and fuck the coordinating raw-freshly-fuck asshole orange of their uniforms.

Fuck Don Shula (save his Browns connection), Fuck Czonka, Kiick, Morris, Marino, and everything else connected with these boring ass cocksuckers. Fuck Jimmie Johnson, too.

    Yes they did with Griese.

Hue saved Brock's arrss..(for now,Hue knows their intentions or would not have brought FO up imo)..If Hue Winks at MKC and speaks out the Left side of his mouth with Kessler or Kizer..All Bets are off and the plan is to increase Brock's trade Value..Cause that's what "them" do 😎

    Yup, coachspeak.

But I think differently of the Ostrich situation.

I think Hue knows that his ass is on fire. If he doesn't supply some wins in this season, he's gonna get fired. He's been watching his "Trust me on this one", QB, Kessler and doesn't see him as a great option. He's got a new kid in Kizer that 'might' be a winner....but he's got a bunch of learning and growing to do before he's ready to lead an NFL team. He's got Col. Hogan who doesn't seem overly impressive. And he's got the Ostrich, who seems to be the only guy that might give him a chance to win a few games....at least until Kizer can prove that he's ready to take the field.

I don't think there's any way in hell that Hue wants the Ostrich traded away on him. I think he views him as the only hope of saving his job.

His job is safe this year. Doesn't matter how much we win or lose this year. Firing another coach this soon would be atrocious for the front office. Who else would come here? And we can't even fathom "starting over" and "rebuilding" with another regime already. Jimmy is all in on moneyball.

The play of the defense will keep him in business. If the O starts contributing too, it's icing on the cake.

  • On NPR today some talking head was saying that the teams are colluding to not give Kaepernick a job...and that Cutler was retired and Kaep was available and that he's being avoided because of his peaceful protest and that he has the right to protest. And that the Cutler signing 'smells' of something.

    I wanted to puke.

Yup, you can protest...you can make statements...and you can't be put in jail for them. But you can sure as hell be fired by your employer....and have a hell of a time finding a new job. Makes no sense to blame employers for not wanting to be associated with ya.

Well, those people are only looking at the color of his skin. They are oblivious to the fact that he deteriorated badly in terms of his skills. Is he better than a lot of QBs on rosters now? Sure. But is his talent so overwhelming that a team must disrupt its roster of QBs just to give him a job? Hell no.

He is now 2d string talent at best....regardless of his protests. And lots of teams have their QB rosters set.

Cutler was a fit for Miami: a. he and the HC had a great relationship, and he is running the same system he ran in Chicago. b. none of that applies to Kaepernick

Baltimore: this possibly should have been the place for him....but again, his style is nothing like what they have there now. You have the tall pocket passer system......and the backup there, Mallet, fits that mold. Kaepernick does not. Now, the Ravens owner got stupid with his polling of the fans and asking people to "pray for us". That looks wimpy. Either say yes, or no.

Cleveland: Kaepernick may be as good as Osweiler and Kessler...but not necessarily oh so much better. Again, why disrupt things for very little advantage.

Except for the fact that is not what his stats show... good point?

    https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KaepCo00.htm

I think Colin's value to a team was a point of contention long before he ever took a pre-game knee. I personally never saw him to be as good as many did during his "break out" year under Harbaugh... a year when the entire team overachieved. Something that was not not on Harbaugh who bolted to UM...

How many of the other players that also took knees have been "frozen out" by the owners?

So, you say his talents have not deteriorated....that they were not that good to begin with and that it was Harbaugh's coaching and system that made him look good? I could probably buy that.

So, he ain't as great as Spike Lee thinks he is....he is just as black as Spike Lee thinks he is.

And the other bottom line point is: if his talents WERE that good...then or now....he would have a job, kneeling notwithstanding.

  • Agree with your last point and bottom line... we're just getting there via different routes.

Harbaugh's influence? Sure... some credit goes to him, but the team had the talent when he came on board; Singletary just couldn't get their potential out of them.

In other words, we actually agree on both points.

But, if they were that talented, and Singletary was unable to lead them....but Harbaugh was...... that is no longer the case. They seem to be among the least talented teams in the league this year.

  • The routes are important... especially when one is factually correct and the other is your route.

Yes, the 49ers have lost a great deal of talent recently.

So, you are saying that my route: that Kaepernick's talent has deteriorated...is incorrect?

But I think I previously conceded that to you. So, now how is it that I am still incorrect on a matter that I agree with you on? Unless you are saying you were incorrect?

Yes, the 49ers have lost a great deal of talent recently.
