No no no. It's three Obamas and a Clinton

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

On another note: actual presidents who could be added to Rushmore...FDR and Reagan?

Is it true they are thinking of renaming Ft. Hood to Ft. Phil Sheridan because he once said, "If I owned Texas and Hell, I would rent out Texas and live in Hell"? 😛

(Oh, I know a base already bears his name, but it's a funny, true quote nonetheless)

If someone thinks Confederate stuff, nazis, etc are offensive, I still see no problem with them being in a museum. You don't want to erase history, but I have no problem not celebrating the uglier parts

I've heard over and over again leftists say "it belongs in a museum not on public display!" Now it's in a museum and they still want it down. What a surprise.

Let each city and community that has a confederate statue or memorial make the decision if they go or stay. Put the issue on a ballot and let the citizens of those communities decide. Seems simple enough and that would be be democracy.

FDR whether you like him or not guided the country through the largest war since the civil war.

As much as I love Ronald Reagan part of his success was being at the right place at the right time. FDR dragged out the war and the depression much longer than they had to. He fucked up the entire medical system with the wage and price controls keeping businesses from hiring quality workers. They were forced to add the perk of free healthcare to their offers and we all know where that led. It wasn't until Harry Truman decided just to wipe out hundreds of thousands of civilians that the war came to an end.

The economy actually picked up because the manufacturing headquarters of the world in Great Britain and Germany were destroyed and our new factories were able to pick up the slack.
