Survey Tuesday August 29

The Browns Board
9 6 287
  • Here is this week's Survey.  Give your answers or opinions:

    1. Realistically, which teams do you think will have a WORSE record than the Browns this coming season?

    2. Browns have already dumped Des Bryant, and are talking about dumping some more veterans.  Which vets....say with 3 or more years here, do you think will be aufed by the Browns?

    3. Is there any former Browns QB that you would like to see be back here....even if in a backup role?

    4. Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston hard.  What is the worst natural disaster that you have ever had to endure?

    5. The Texas Rangers refused to switch series with the Houston Astros after being requested to do so because of the Hurricane. Their apparent excuse is that they did not want 4 away series in a row at the end of the season.  What do you think of the Rangers (specifically their GM...who made the decision) actions?

    6. Dan Fouts says that the fact that the Chargers will be playing in 27,000 seat stadium for their home games this year is embarassing.  Do you agree?

The Jets, Jaguars, Redskins, Rams because Goff sucks!

    2. Browns have already dumped Des Bryant, and are talking about dumping some more veterans.  Which vets....say with 3 or more years here, do you think will be aufed by the Browns?

    Brandon Weeden

    4. Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston hard.  What is the worst natural disaster that you have ever had to endure?

2004 Hurricanes in Florida that started with Charlie. And right now in Pasco County it hasn't stopped raining here all summer! Now with Harvey we've had flooding, torrential downpours and power outages since Thursday. Also when I lived 70 miles North when Mt

    St Helens Blew.

    5. The Texas Rangers refused to switch series with the Houston Astros after being requested to do so because of the Hurricane. are they contending for anything? If not they're a bucket of manure!

    6. Dan Fouts says that the fact that the Chargers will be playing in 27,000 seat stadium for their home games this year is embarassing.  Do you agree? Yes and Goodell needs to be fired for taking the Rams and Chargers away from their fans.

    1.  Jets, Jags, Rams, Bills, Ravens, Colts, Bears.

    2.  No

    3. No

    4. knock on wood...none at all

    5. very very weak decision.  They're 2 games under .500 and 15 games out of first.  They're playing for nothing the rest of the year.  Bad karma, I hope the fuckers lose every game the rest of the season.

    6. Of course it is.    Texas high school stadiums are bigger than that place and they're only getting 21k to show up for the exhibition games.  Moving into a soccer stadium was a silly decision but the owner had to have LA at any cost so they get what they deserve.

    1. Realistically, which teams do you think will have a WORSE record than the Browns this coming season?

Realistically:  The Jets, maybe Bills, Bengals, possibly Ravens.  Chargers. Jags. Redskins, Lions, Vikings, Bears, Rams, 49ers.

    2. Browns have already dumped Des Bryant, and are talking about dumping some more veterans.  Which vets....say with 3 or more years here, do you think will be aufed by the Browns?

Clearly they are trying to dump Haden.  They may decide to ditch Greco, and X Cooper could be vulnerable.

    3. Is there any former Browns QB that you would like to see be back here....even if in a backup role?

If Hoyer were here as our backup QB behind Kizer, I would be good with that. He wouldn't like seeing that he is starting in SF, but I wouldn't mind.(I think he has proven that he is essentially a backup guy anyway).  No one else would really interest me.

    4. Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston hard.  What is the worst natural disaster that you have ever had to endure?

Nothing nearly that crazy.  The Blizzards of 1977 and 1978 are about the worst I have been through.  Snow practically over your head.

    5. The Texas Rangers refused to switch series with the Houston Astros after being requested to do so because of the Hurricane. Their apparent excuse is that they did not want 4 away series in a row at the end of the season.  What do you think of the Rangers (specifically their GM...who made the decision) actions?

Yes, he is a chicken shit asshole.  Rangers are going nowhere...not going to be in the playoffs....unless they get super hot in the next few weeks. Go on a 10 game win streak and that might get them into the thick of the wild card race. But that ain't happenin'.

I only wonder why the Astros felt they had to go to Tampa to play their series.  I wonder if the Alamodome in San Antonio could have been set up for baseball.

Actually...it can be. In fact, apparently just earlier this year the Rangers and the Indians played some exhibition games there:

He is absolutely right.  This is not like playing an exhibition game...this is regular season football. It would be like the Browns playing in (the former) Fawcett stadium in Canton for all their games.

Not sure any more will go at this point despite Joe rumors.

    3. Is there any former Browns QB that you would like to see be back here....even if in a backup role?

A stone cold sober and serious Johnny Football just so I can give people a hard time again.

    4. Hurricane Harvey has hit Houston hard.  What is the worst natural disaster that you have ever had to endure?

Hurricane Audrey 1957 we were in the NW and the W edge of it as a Cat 4 145+MPH that killed over 400 people and wiped out Cameron, La. Knocked down some huge pine trees around us that could clearly be heard thumping the ground when they hit.

Selfish-it's all about $$ in the end

    6. Dan Fouts says that the fact that the Chargers will be playing in 27,000 seat stadium for their home games this year is embarassing.  Do you agree?

Yes-smaller than most 6A HS stadiums in Texas.

  • 1. Realistically, which teams do you think will have a WORSE record than the Browns this coming season?

    Highly Confident: Jets, 49ers,

Possibles: Cinci, Bills, Colts, JAX, Rams, Bears, Lions

    2. Browns have already dumped Des Bryant, and are talking about dumping some more veterans.  Which vets....say with 3 or more years here, do you think will be aufed by the Browns?

Thompson (6, DL)... Martin (4, OL)... maybe Pryor (4, DB)

    3. Is there any former Browns QB that you would like to see be back here....even if in a backup role?

No... and you mean only in a backup role.

    4. Hurricane Tropical Storm Harvey has hit Houston hard.  What is the worst natural disaster that you have ever had to endure?

Hurricane Ike... a real hurricane with a real storm surge that put 3' of Galveston Bay in my previous home

    5. The Texas Rangers refused to switch series with the Houston Astros after being requested to do so because of the Hurricane. Their apparent excuse is that they did not want 4 away series in a row at the end of the season.  What do you think of the Rangers (specifically their GM...who made the decision) actions?

I don't blame him. He's looking out for his team. But the Rangers should compensate the Astros for lost revenue due to the games being moved to TB

    6. Dan Fouts says that the fact that the Chargers will be playing in 27,000 seat stadium for their home games this year is embarassing (sic).  Do you agree?

No... I actually think it'd be kinda cool to see an NFL game in a smaller venue. What will be embarrassing is when LA fails to support two NFL teams and the Chargers go hunting for another city. St. Louis Chargers?

    Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Wilma
