can ya name the final 8 to go? https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2017/9/1/16241264/cleveland-browns-roster-cuts-tracker-as-team-tries-to-get-down-to-53-players

I know this is the wrong spot to ask this and I really do not feel like starting a thread about it so I will ask you guys, Is Adam Pac Man Jones facing anything from the league for him getting in trouble yet again a few months back? Or did his high price attorneys take care of it?

Sterup-Fabs-Vitale-Holtz-Higgins-Payton-D.King-Hillary-Murray-Here's 9 that would hit PS with no one looking imo.. Martin or Reiter (no PS) are C's and carrying 1 is a must behind Tretter.(10) McGee makes it or gone(11) & how many snap counts does Duke see at slot? My vision is cut to 50 & add a WR & 2 CB's at now NFL level..tick tock.. & scratch another browns replay..It's Cut-Down Madness hours with Mooch & Eisen properly..We just expect no Respect till we win..

Aww. Kinda bummed about Greco. Hats off to that guy.
-
I think they let Greco go early so he would have a better chance at catching on with a another Team.
He was recovering from injuries as well, and may have been have a few issues with them still.
Great, versatile guy, and hate to see him go, but I can sorta see the thinking in this move.
(DL) Karter Schult and (S) Kai Nacua are the two UDFA's that I thought looked pretty good when we brought them in with the Draft.
Schult did okay, they may be planning on getting him to the Practice Squad (have to be cut first) if someone doesn't snag him. As a UDFA, his chances might be good to make it to the PS.
Nacua is still hanging on, I think they like him, but he may get cut and be a target for the PS as well.
Some tough cuts being made, meaning we're making progress in some areas.
Still expect to see about five new faces on the Team.
-
I wasn't aware that we had better backups than Greco. - I wonder who they are.....
I'm interested to see what happens at our WR position. I suspect we'll cut one more. And then when everyone else makes their final cuts that position will probably change again.
I think Telford stays as a TE.
And OL depth will be interesting to watch.

Boo hoo, one game suspension. according to my Bengals contact, Mike Brown has the city DA in his back pocket. He should have gotten an entire year this time for his repeat antics.

- 1 game? WTF? All the shit he did in the past? Even went as far as to spit on a nurse and 1 game? But Josh Gordon got high and is out seasons because of his past?

FIXED

They took Gordon's past in to consideration when they gave him his last suspension, I am not sure what "you fixed" by changing it to PRESENT but ok if that fixes everything than who am I to say anything

Steelers have traded WR Sammie Coates to the Browns

Gets odder :
On Saturday, the Browns acquired WR Sammie Coates and a 7th round draft pick in 2019 from the Steelers. In return, Pittsburgh receivers the 2018 6th round pick...which Cleveland had acquired last year when they traded CB Justin Gilbert to Pittsburgh!
