Who Do You Want On The PS?

  • Your list looks good to me....less stribling maybe.....better keep Leslie and Hall around, cause they will eventually realize their WR's suck and will be looking for more soon enough(hopefully)....

Id like to see most of them come off the current 53 man roster, cause that would mean we picked up some new(better) talent...

That would be nice, but last year we only picked up a few from waivers. There were a few plays I saw from Stribling in preseason that made me think he had potential worth developing on the PS. He was not afraid to make hard hits when needed and @6'2" that's a big corner to stay with some of these "Mike Evans" types. Maybe Woody can shed some light since he's a Michigander.

Ha.....that should be an unbiased opinion....;)

Well let me tell you about WR Christian Kirk for 2018 draft then.😍😆

  • I have a few favorites:  DB Stribling, WRs Leslie and Hall, LB Olugbode and DL Schult

This looks about right to me. I can't say l have any opinion on Stribling or Schult, but l've heard good things so why not, unless we have better options. I might even add Payton, Boyce and Mullaney. Just go heavy on WR.

And maybe pick up someone who can return kicks. What is our plan for that anyway? I think we cut the dude that did it most of the preseason.

Agree. Schult & Leslie REALLY interest me. Guess we'll see what happens.

Punts are all Peppers..Caldwell,Alford & R.Hall were dual guys on Kickoffs..They all gone,so your right..Kinda thinking if they think Duke can handle WR pops why not KO's? They have Dayes as RB depth, but try telling that to Peppers..Getting any of them killed is a issue but the more serious problem is why do Peppers if your picking up flags every KO? Did Higgins do any KO returns in college? He'd be my crash dummy at this point

That's fine... I'd add Sterup ASAP. He's no where near ready to step in at either OT slot... neither is Rod, but... you know... Draft Pick...

Eric Winston is an OL to whom I'd make an offer.

I think this new, one-step waiver thing is going to curtail the churning we saw last year. We don't even get a test drive before we have to trim roster to waivers so you have to be damn sure your newly claimed talent is better than that which you just released.

I know I am not seeing it on the wire...

Woody's actually chimed in on Stribling already. IIRC his comment was along the lines of "raw cover tech and needs to get stronger, but is a willing tackler".

Winston is now turning 34 in Nov., so there's that age thing again with our FO.

And glad to see verification of the hitter I saw in brief playing time during pre-season.

  • Well aware of his age, Ag. Just looking for better insurance to protect our potential franchise...

And I agree with you. So how do we convince the FO?😁

    Sign him up....

  • Four of the 10 announced

    RB Terrence Magee

    TE J.P. Holtz

    OLB Deon King

    CB Najee Murray

  • Leslie and schult need to be retained. I would wager a small amt that its possible both coukd be called up by seasons end. Leslie moreso because our Wr's suck so much....but i also suspect williams is going to be not pleased with the performance of some of our DL depth. As i said before schult might be better now than nassib and ogbah were at this stage laat year
