  • He is, or he was a Pro Bowl wide receiver, he will be again. šŸ™‚

When Josh gets back it's going to be a huge boost to the team.Ā

Getting Gordon, Collins, Garrett and Coleman back are going to be significant. Full sail ahead.

Call us when that all happens. Ā Meantime take a long deep breath.

  • The Gipper

....wonder what heaven is like for Hue. Ā When you consider he had heaven here.

  • I love ya, Josh, but I had to share this...

  • Haslam should march his hillbilly crooked ass into Goodells office and DEMAND he quit fucking around and reinstate him. I sure the hell would if I owned this team. He fucked up multi times yes, hes done what was asked so put him back on the field.Ā

Do we know for sure that he's FILED for reinstatement?

...and Haslam had already gone out on a limb for him the LAST time. Ā He's not gonna do THAT again.

  • Man, I can't wait until Josh gets back.

Please try to remember that he was 20-21 years old, the same age as Kizer when he came into the league. He's grown so much as a person, both physically and mentally. Josh Gordon is hardly recognizable now from his rookie season... But he is Flash none the less. Ā

When he comes back we are going to get to see something so rare and amazing... Redemption. Both for JG and CB. All it's gonna take is a little faith, trust and brownie dust.Ā

I hope our new FO handles him right, I'd hate that after all this time- they make a stupid mistake and give him the Jim Brown treatment. They better 'know' that they need him MORE than he needs them. Any Franchise in the NFL would be happy to sign the Gordon on the cheap; should he perform well and can keep the off the field persona clean they can lock him down for a long time and he can be legitimately carry a team on his shoulders.

  • Has Sashi Brown or Hue Jackson spoke with Gordon since he's gotten out of rehab? Is he allowed to talk to them on the phone? If I was Sashi Brown or Jimmy Haslam or Hue Jackson, I'd be on the phone with Goodell the minute Gordon was out of rehab and asking him what is the deal. Gordon is a part of the team and not only that but he's an integral part of the team. You can see that without Gordon we simply cannot win a damn game. He's the nuke in our arsenal. Anyway, I would be on the phone, pleading to Goodell that we be able to establish contact and set up something to help him and his return to football. Whether it's trainers, team doctors, weight and diet specialists, HR.. whatever it took to make the transition as smooth as possible for both the FO and Coaching Staff, and Josh Gordon as both a player and a person.Ā

  • Well, looks like we can set aside the ""Josh will be here for the Indy game rumor""....why am I not surprised?

Are you sure that was Indy 2017?

  • I really think we're going to know Gordon's future very soon. He's out of rehab, his application for reinstatement is probably submitted, right? He completed a 90 freaking day inpatient treatment plan, and that's pretty serious guys. That's a quarter of a year, living in a clinical setting, receiving treatment, working on issues, striving to be better. How is that NOT what the NFL wants? To say we need him is the understatement of the year, and the NFL knows this. They don't WANT our Browns to completely suck because it actually hurts their product. I fully believe the NFL will reinstate Gordon IF (biggest if ever btw) IF Gordon really did everything they asked.Ā

  • Not so sure its the effort vs. the timing on this rehab stint.

Just have to wait... any contribution will be appreciated.

  • So apparently Josh Gordon is back in Cleveland. There were tweets/Snapchat yesterday about his arrival and the hotel where he's staying. He does have a child here so he could be there for that or is he close to reinstatement?

  • It's like we all know...if...IF he's possibly reinstated, we likely won't hear a thing until one day seeing a story that says he's back.Ā  Just as likely, maybe MORE likely, is the opposite story saying, "Gordon rejected again."Ā  The NFL really tries to keep these things under wraps, so I wouldn't expect much info until the decision is announced...either way.

The good news for both Josh AND our fans is that the Browns have no choice but to keep him.Ā  As bad as our WR's currently are right now, we don't have the luxury of playing moral compass.Ā  If Josh can play, we'll throw him out there.Ā  I can almost promise it.Ā Ā

Cmon Josh...if there's anything that can help a young QB, it's a guy like you.

Browns receiveĀ Josh GordonĀ ended a 90-day rehab stintĀ last month. He is eligible to apply for reinstatement to the NFL. Per a league source, that hasn’t happened yet.

Gordon hasn’t filed yet even though former Olympian Tim Montgomery, who has been assisting Gordon, has said, ā€œHe’s coming. . . I think he’s going to be there this season.ā€

Even if Gordon files this week, the league has no deadline or timetable for resolving a reinstatement request. And since Gordon currently doesn’t have an agent to help Gordon through the process of filing his petition, the application may not move as quickly as it otherwise would.

Gordon, a second-round pick in the 2012 supplemental draft, last played in 2014, appearing in five games and catching 24 passes for 303 yards. In 2013, Gordon generated 1,646 receiving yards in 14 games.

It’s a shame that his talent has been wasted, both by his inability to comply with the league’s rules regarding off-field substance use and abuse — and by the league’s insistence to police the private lives of employees for things completely unrelated to their unemployment.

Sounds about right. Ā He's probably already smoked a fatty and knows that he won't be reinstated. Ā
