And players that dont improve in some measurable fashion from one year to the next. dumpsterfire this. We're always subject in the offseason to videos of players on ther teams killin it in the weightroom. Even old man harrison in pgh is still considered one of the strongest if not THE strongest mofo in football and his offseason training videos show why.

never see browns players offseason wirking their butt off. If u hear of a browns player during the offseason its almost akways in a police report or Shmucking tmz. Shmuck this. Get em out if here if they dont imprive on their craft in the offseason. If the coaches and/or FO wont cut these players that are just here collectin jimmehs munnehs.....than jimmeh needs to overhaul the FO and staff himself. An owner cannot tolerate year after year players that just come to his organization for a paycheck.

Getting a strange sense of deja vu...

Kizer worked out. Danny worked out... saw articles on both. Pretty sure there was one as well for Corey Coleman.

Kizer has worked out? Wut? He's a rookie dude, we dont know yet...we might have to spend the #1 in a qb next year. As for danny, he's on the bubble. If his current mediocre play continues we should either shop him in the offseason or keep him long enough to find his replacement and/or bring him off the bench

Tour is referring to articles about those three players "working out", as in hitting the weights, in a weight room... You know, like what you were originally talking about concerning one James Harrison?

Working out in this context == lifting weights and doing sprint training..

Sadly, Britt may very well be the best on the team at the physical task of getting open -- but he simply has to be cut to show what it means to give a damn.

Danny reported lighter IIRC. Pretty sure just doing yoga did not accomplish that.

And more I thought about it the more I remembered Coleman organizing WR work outs. I think Kess worked with them as well. Devalve, too...

And what you were getting at is that we have a collection of lazy-butt players just looking for paydays.

Typical Steeler fan thinks, stupidly, that THEY have some influence on the success of their team.  Of course, that is ignorant.  Fans are as powerless whether the team is good or if it sucks.  Winning begets devotion perhaps.  Losing begets anger, and worse, apathy.

The only place I've seen fans influence an outcome is yelling their asses off at a crucial point in the game when the other team has the ball and it causes them to either miscommunicate or commit a penalty.  Seattle thrives on it.

Oh i know we have some lazy butt players on the team, but even that still wasnt the point. The greater point is u never see wkt videos coming from browns players either showcasing some world class talent, work ethic or outright athleticism. Stock footage of running cone drills in the offseason so the s&c coach stays off ur butt is not impressive. Temember watts furst coyple years? Before he was the name he was...he was putting out these weight room videos showing how he was getting stronger from year to year.....video proof of it. The offseason for him was only there to work on his craft.

Hey, a 290 lb guy jumping over houses is not unimpressive. And more to the point, it's not something he just decided to go out and do one day. He worked at it. One year he jumped over a one story next year it was a two story, he was showing his improvement. Thats my point

I knew a guy who could throw a football over that mountain. His high school team would have won state if his coach had just put him in.
