Hue most likely gone now....

On Kessler...."trust me on this"
Hue sucks. We still have no franchise QB to build a team around and yet other teams have found their QB.
Should he be fired? Around here (N.E. Ohio) the answer is.... Who cares?
Have we ever gotten a straight answer as to who picks the quarterbacks besides consensus of a faceless Legion of underlings?

Anybody who is bitching about the quality of talent the decisions on the roster and who to blame and rail against. Why does anybody care about any of this shjt?

Gotta weed the Bums out, but its hard to spot the Bums with bad QB play.
IMO, these guys like getting into a rhythm.
Britt is already in a rhythm, "1$, 2$, 3$................1Mil$, 2Mil$.................17Mil$..............." and counting.

I have been a football coach for 16 years now (high school) and there is one thing that I have learned to be an absolute truth when It comes to winning football games. In order to win consistently...you have to have great football players. Nick Saban and Urban Myer win because they get great players every year to come to their schools. Another absolute truth I have learned is that if you are good on the offensive line and the defensive line, you are probably going to win more games than you will lose. I'm not sure that Hue has been provided the resources that he needs to be win. On the other hand (and I agree with some of the previous posters) he has made some head scratching calls. I'm also not sure that he has not lost the locker room at this point. My biggest gripe with the Browns over the past few years is obviously the terrible draft picks. We are having serious issues evaluating talent. I can't believe that these guys are even looking at game film on these players that they draft.

I'm not sure anyone in the FO knows how to evaluate film. My son has had only 20 total points scored on his defenses for both 8th grade A and B teams combined through 14 games this year. He understands film/tape evaluation and scouting far better than any of these clowns have demonstrated.
Edit: I swear that when this FO is looking for receivers they somehow can't know the meaning of Hands of Stone. They just can't be watching tape. That is the only way you can understand it.

And Barberton is the bottom of the barrel, lmao.
And Barberton is the bottom of the barrel, lmao.
I don't live in Barberton....I only work here. And, no, Barberton is a very high step above both Youngstown and Parma.
Barberton has better ethnic restaurants than Parma.
-
Barberton is working class, no doubt. And it has the same kind of people as any working class city....which includes hillbillies and poor white trash, and poor black trash. I can look out my office window as we speak and likely see a few of those sorts. And you have to understand the character of parochial rivalries to understand why the person who posted that blog likely said that. It is nothing I haven't probably said myself. I grew up in Norton, next to Barberton, and am fully aware of this parochial rivalry. But I know that people from Barberton are "salt of the earth" types.
But, please....NO ONE from Parma is in any position to make fun of other cities. I mean, my God....as great an institution as Ghoulardi made Parma a running joke.
With good reason?
(by the way....you are writing this on a computer? Perhaps you are using a mouse....or a clickpad. Guess where the guys that designed that device come from: Barberton, Ohio. Yep.

Why ask a question that contains your answer?
Would we be any better or worse had someone not made the decision to sign Kenny Britt? Why would cutting veteran quarterbacks be any different?
Ah.... another "riff" report. How many is that now this season?

On paper Britt worked. Who would thought he would be so bad? He just came off a 1000 yard season.
Precisely... plus we had an insider in Gregg Williams for any hint of locker room cancer that WSS's article references.

Why would I be mad about you gobbling my knob......except, I guess, I would prefer you substitute your girlfriend for the task. I admit that.

For someone who ran to the moderators when his snowflake feelings got so, so hurt on this board, DieHard talks a lot of Sheet. How sad.

Arguing as to whether Barberton, Youngstown or Wadsworth are better places to live, is like arguing who among Oprah, Whoopie and Joy Behar you would rather have sex with.

I could be wrong but this might be the earliest that folks have given up on the Browns and, instead, focus on Cities, Towns, Sausage, etc. Anything except football. Sheesh

No Doubt. Seem like it might have been an okay idea at the time to play Kenny Britt. There were also, as I recall a bunch of questions as to whether he was worth even having at the outset. Same thing with Pryor which turned out to be the same deal. Unfortunately you can make excuses till the cows come home for every unsuccessful player coach or team in the league and at the end of the day guys still get fired for bad luck.
But if you are asking me if we'd be better or worse without the decisions of the faceless shadow figures in the fo as to the quarterback situation I'd say better and if not lots better at least somewhat better or no worse.
Personally I would not have taken Kizer.
I would have Josh McCown and two of the three others. I would look toward getting a quarterback to gamble with in 18.
PS as to your consensus Theory I think we know enough about human nature to realize you can't have six guys agree on anything. So I would more lean toward the coaches decisions as to who he wants playing on his field. If that's not happening, and nobody knows if it is or not, then failure is sure to follow.

I was listening to Beau Bishop on the drive home today. He was talking about this very subject. He said that Greg Williams told Sashi & Co. to avoid Britt at all costs. Obviously, his warnings fell on deaf ears.

The Havaad boys think they are smarter than everybody else. But there is a huge difference between smart and having good sense.

Johnny Boy, wouldn't we first have to actually have a football team to talk football? This franchise is so unbelievably bad, even I had to let up on it a bit.
